Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Harlow

My recent visit to this Costa Coffee was beyond disappointing, and I can't help but express my utter dismay. The unprofessionalism of one specific staff member, who appeared to be a female of Eastern European descent (not wearing a name badge) was glaringly evident. Her demeanor was not only rude but downright hostile, leaving me and other customers taken aback.

What truly emphasized her unprofessional behavior was the way she carelessly slammed utensils onto the counter, making the entire environment uncomfortable and unpleasant. Her disinterested and almost miserable attitude made it seem as though she was being forced to work there against her will. It was evident that she had no passion for providing good customer service.

The situation was so disheartening that other customers had to check up on me, clearly sensing the tension and discomfort that her behavior had created. As someone who frequents coffee shops for a relaxing experience, this visit left me truly devastated.

Costa Coffee, as a renowned chain, should be held to a higher standard when it comes to the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. It's disheartening to witness such a glaring lack of care and attention to customer experience. I sincerely hope that they address this issue promptly to maintain their reputation as a welcoming and customer-oriented...

Staff was very rude, I was helping with a lady who needs help with the ordering machine .As they were not taking order by counter . Did not heard my order was ready , by the time I came back to collect my coffee, politely asked them if that’s my coffee without order number as I can see another cup with number written on it. So one of staff she opens up the lid and smells it , put some more syrup and said next time if you don’t come and collect on time, you order a new one pay again . Other staff has been shouting the order number since few minutes back. I have never been served by more miserable looking staff, they're working in a hospital filled with sick people and their relatives they could at least manage service with a smile. Came in just before 7pm and they were more concerned about doing the cleaning than getting orders through and made properly. The boy serving repeatedly asked what we had ordered and whether we had been served. They couldn't find the right lid for the cold drink so just shoved a random one on making it borderline impossible to drink. Then decided to forget a frostino that had been ordered, proceeded to turn the blenders off and take them away to clean and acted like it was our fault when we asked where...
