Subway — Restaurant in Harlow

NEVER GOING BACK ! I loved this Subway was the best around but they decided to brake something that was working well. For some reason you can no longer order at the counter. Have to use a screen no choice. Also the deal that I went there for they will not honour. So don't trust the app or there new screens took me 10 mins or more to order only managing to complete the job as a helpfull member of staff helped. The screens don't all work kick you out half way in to the order. It's terrible so much slower. I can't even half and half a foot long now would have to get 2 6inch. So so back. Here is hoping they change it back or at least make it optional. Or this was the last time I will ever go there. Only stuck it out for the kids or I would have walked out. Food was slow getting to us.table is broken and rocked all over spilling drinks. From best to worst. Thanks to the young chap who did apologise but it's not...

My partner and I mostly visit the Edinburgh Way branch due to it being local to us. The quality of the food is consistently good, we haven't had a bad experience. I do want to make special mention to the staff because they're always friendly and polite. There was a recent altercation involving a very rude customer, he was being abusive to the members of staff for absolutely no reason, but staff didn't rise to it and handled the situation very well...so kudos to them, hopefully these incidents are rare as they don't deserve that! My only criticism is this branch and possibly others lack atmosphere; the interiors need modernisation and music...perhaps a Subway radio station taking customer requests? We choose how we want our sandwiches made, why not our choice of music?...

Food was ok, staff were friendly however the place is filthy! I honestly don’t know how they get away with it, I don’t mean like lunch time mess on the floor I mean like behind there advertisement stand was disgusting hasn’t been cleaned in ages, in the corners were build up of dirt and thankfully I went to use the toilet as I was leaving because the toilet is something else. The toilets over the town park are cleaner than these. There is literally no excuse to let a toilet get like that, it puts you off eating there, this is what they let you see I can only imagine what their work space looks like!
