We recently had the pleasure of working with Guruji for our wedding reception, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The team helped us from the very start welcoming us and sharing the very essence that is Guruji. Even before the moment we booked with them, it was clear we were in great hands. Every single member of the team we interacted with went out of their way to ensure that the service, the food and the presentation was impeccable and made sure to make us feel that no ask was too big. Food: The food was absolutely incredible! Every dish was a masterpiece, both in flavor and presentation. Guests raved about the dishes especially the prawns! As a mixed culture wedding they ensured the dishes catered to all, without compromising on flavour, and upheld our needs to ensure the food was religiously appropriate. It was evident that a lot of thought, passion and expertise went into curating the menu. Bar Service: The bar service was equally impressive. Whilst the bar was not our original intention, due to the venues licensing it was necessary, and Guruji excelled in their delivery. They kept the drinks flowing without any hiccups, ensuring everyone was taken care of promptly. Service: Guruji's team truly went the extra mile to make the event flawless. Their attention to detail was remarkable, from the way the tables were set, providing us with advice on ways to elevate it further, to the timing of the courses. Nothing was overlooked, and they even anticipated needs before we mentioned them. Staff: The staff was courteous, efficient, and a joy to work with. They were always smiling and ready to assist, which made a world of difference in the overall experience. Guruji exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a caterer and bar service that combines incredible food, exceptional service, and a dedicated team, look no further. For that matter, I have no doubts that every service they provide (as they also provide holistic event management) would not let you down. GuruJi is the most amazing Wedding Caterers! We don’t even know where to start, but to say a massive thank you to Roshan, Luan and the GuruJi team for making our day so special and memorable!

Their professionalism and kindness started from the first time we emailed them. We struggled with so many other caterers prior to contacting them as they were terrible at calling us back and arranging tastings. But GuruJi was a breath of fresh air from the beginning and delivered everything they said. On the tastings and after the meetings, they helped us run through everything and plan out the day and how everything would go.

The day was sooo special and we couldn’t have done it without GuruJi. Everything was so perfect and the food was so delicious. We were worried about catering to both sides of the family (half the wedding was Indian and the other half was Carribbean) but both sides LOVED the food and requested more! Very positive feedback from everyone, even our carribbean guests who have never tried Indian food.

My wife’s father requested a special dish (Keralan style boned mutton) and they absolutely smashed it and had a Keralan chef prepare the meal! My father in law even went in the kitchen to personally give his compliments to the chef and speak to each other in Malayalam.

Guruji was our wedding caterer + bar supplier and it was the best decision we made for our wedding!! The team were great, very friendly and welcoming from first contact. Guruji supplied all our food and drinks for the day, from morning coffee, lunch, canapés, cocktails, reception and bar and did it so efficiently and effortlessly. Our wedding was such a packed day with 2 ceremonies and reception and Guruji performed without a fault. The food and drinks were amazing, our guests are still talking about it 3 months later!! Not only did the team help with catering, they also helped with on the day event management, and made sure the bride and groom ate, bringing us plates of food while we were taking photos. The team were responsive from day 1 and made the whole process so much easier for us (compared to another caterer who took weeks to respond). They also invited us to free food tastings and there wasn’t a limit to how many times we could visit, another caterer quoted us over £150 for just one tasting. At a really stressful time managing lots of suppliers and planning a whole wedding, working with Guruji was a breeze. We couldn’t have done it without them!!
