Title: A Culinary Delight at The Kara!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Kara in Fleet, and I can genuinely say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! This restaurant is a true gem, boasting an incredible combination of amazing food, outstanding service, and delicious cocktails that left me absolutely thrilled.
As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances modern elegance and cozy charm. The decor is beautiful, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food! Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. I started with the pan-seared scallops—beautifully cooked, they were perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the filet steak, which was cooked to perfection, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned just right. Each bite was a celebration of culinary expertise! My dining companion couldn’t stop raving about the roasted vegetable risotto, which was creamy and flavorful, a true plant-based delight.
And of course, no meal is complete without cocktails! The cocktail menu at The Kara is nothing short of impressive. I indulged in a signature drink that was both refreshing and innovative, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors that perfectly complemented our meal. It’s clear that the mixologists here know their craft!
The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fantastic dining experience.
In summary, The Kara is a must-visit for anyone in Fleet looking for a culinary adventure. With its mouthwatering food, delightful cocktails, and exceptional service, it’s no wonder this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. I cannot wait to return and try more of their incredible dishes! Don’t miss out on this wonderful...
Read moreThe food was absolutely better than I imagined, definately exceeded my expectations! The Kara is not just an ordinary restaurant it undoubtably takes the crown when it comes to Turkish restaurants. Main highlights about the food:
Service: All the waiters we had were so accommodating and very informative. They helped us pick the right dishes. Taste: Even better than I had imagined, our meat which was cooked on the grill hit all the spots! It was perfect, I wouldn’t change anything about the tenderness, seasoning etc. Presentation: Kara really do take time with their presentations for the dishes, it was all decorated really nicely, made the whole dining experience even fancier. Portion sizes: To us - a very important factor as many high end restaurants do give small portion sizes, completely the opposite here, very large sizes and we were fed well.
Bar: After we ate our food we were told we could also sit in the lounge for some drinks. The most enjoyable environment ever, from live singers to DJs, we had a great time. Many other people were dancing as well. Shout out to one of the best waitresses we have ever seen! Beyza is great at her job, she really put her time and effort into making sure everyone got their drinks on time, she is also a great chat and can always have a good laugh. Even during the restaurants busiest times she managed to look after all the guests at the bar all on her own she really deserves an applaud for the work she puts in. The restaurant is very very lucky to have such an amazing worker who can cope with such high volume. Extremely proud and grateful for high quality service...

We’ve been meaning to check this place out since it opened back in the summer (2024) but with holidays and other venues we’ve only just got around to it.
The best word I can come up with to describe this place is, glitzy! It’s like stepping back into a prime 1980’s Scarface style club but with a slick modern twist 😎. We had booked a table earlier in the week for Friday night but arrived early so we could chill in the lounge and listen to the female singer who was excellent, great voice…… nice👌🏼😉.
As soon as we’d chosen our starters we were given the most gorgeous tasting bread with dips, then literally within a minute our starters arrived which we’d planned to share. King Prawn and Halloumi which, alongside the bread was absolutely delicious. My main was mixed lamb and chicken shish with a tonne of brilliantly presented salad, rice and of course I added some chips alongside (the northerner coming out in me). It was too much food to be fair. My fault but despite this I forced it down 😉☺️. You could argue it’s just a jazzed up Kebab from across the street, yet actually aside from the amazing setting, brilliant staff here’s the thing….. the succulent, tasty meat is worth every penny. My wife had some chicken dish in a tomato sauce which she said was nice but couldn’t finish it so I ended up eating hers too 🤦♂️🤣.
The food is actually quite reasonably priced, what adds up are the delicious cocktails! They’re very moorish!
We will deffo...
