We had high hopes of this place as the smell of the food was wonderful from outside , however the restaurant was very busy and it was obvious they were struggling to cope with the flow of customers . We waited a long time for our food and became a little frustrated , when our food came it was the wrong order . We were given some more poppadum's but my wife nearly broke her tooth on something hard inside it . We found little lumps of hardened clear plastic in them so called the waiter to show him .... amazingly he argued that there was nothing wrong .... we got him to try one poppadum and he found the same issue but would not accept it was plastic ... we sent all poppadum's back .

My wife’s food was cold and my dish was ok rather than great but neither of us felt it was somewhere we would go again. We were left wondering what else might be inside the food also after the poppadum incident ! We left without tipping the staff as we were not impressed with the quality...

We recently moved to the area and was attracted to Zaal due their indulge menu as it meant we could try a variety of dishes. The staff were absolutely incredible, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, the level of service is impeccable. I love that you can try so many different dishes on the indulge menu as it means trying new dishes without committing for an entire meal of a curry that you don’t like. It also means you get to have your regular or favourite dish as well as something else. The food is delicious. We have been twice now and both times the staff have been incredible, you can really tell that they value their customers. This will now become a regular place for us and can’t wait until we have people visit so we can introduce them to...

It's not fine dining, like the name suggests. However, it is a very good British Indian Restaurant. We started with poppadoms and an assortment of tasty chutneys. My tandoori chicken starter was juicy and flavoursome. The tandoor chef further showed off his skills with a beautifully cooked naan bread. I had lamb dhansak. A very well balanced sweet and spicy dish. The lamb was very tender. The bhindi bhaji (okra based side dish) was also excellent. They managed to serve our large pre-booked table all at...

Curry with friends, nice atmosphere, menu and food were to a good standard and the service was spot on. All the food was well received, with my dish being particularly tasty(tandoori mixed grill). The restaurant was nearly full on Friday night, which is a good sign. The lamb starter is recommended as well. Nice to see the restaurant owner is supporting the local kids cricket and football teams, keep up the community spirit. 👏🏼 Thanks for looking after us
