Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Hastings

Our server was great, nice and polite. That's where the good service ended. We asked for a toastie only to be told not the right time. It was 09.50. Well actually told was more of a surly mumble from the 'I hate my job attitude' cook and I use the term cook very loosely. On revisiting the menu I confirmed my suspicions that there were no time restrictions on any of the menu items. We then spotted the manager and thought we'd bring the matter to his attention. We should have known better I suppose as he had just basically hinted to another customer who had been waiting 12 minutes as to what was he moaning about. Anyway back to our toastie, was informed that breakfast finishes at 11 even though theres an all day breakfast advertised??? Hence the toastie refusal. Once again as you can see on the photos there are no time restrictions. So either the cafe staff need to stop lying or they need to revamp their menus to reflect their alleged time restriction Oh and apart from the guy that served us and apologised for the tardiness of our meal, owing to the fact that said cook was too busy talking to her mates, an attitude chip in the remaining staff might...

3 occasions I have visited this place.

1st time we had full English breakfasts. The service time to dish up already cooked food was ridiculous. Hot drinks were luke warm at best.

2nd time 2 bacon rolls took over 20 mins to be served. Again it is already cooked. There is no need for it to take this long.

3rd and last ever time was informed the wait was over 30 mins for 2 bacon rolls. I refused to wait and left.

There is no need to have such long service times when the good is already cooked. The staff all look like they have no idea what to do or what is going on.

On all 3 occasions, the place has been practically empty.

Even after they dish up the food, its left on the side to get cold before being given to the customer.

They really need a manager to mansge this place and get some organisation in place. As it stands the service...

me and my boyfriend went here, we had heard good things about it. i had ordered a mac n cheese with a side of fries and my boyfriend a sausage sandwich with an added egg.

i was quickly disappointed at the food with my mac and cheese watery and tasting exactly the same as tinned macaroni cheese, and my boyfriends sausages burnt to a crisp and the egg unseasoned and barely cooked. the chips had a strange taste, and some of them cold as if they had been left out and not cooked to order.

it was fairly clean but a strange environment and staff that seem like they really hate their job. overall awful food and unfriendly staff, wont be returning at...
