Jade Garden — Restaurant in Havant

The restaurant has gone down hill, when we arrived there was one other table in use, over £6.00 for 3/4s of a pint of lager, £5.60 for a bottle of cider and almost £3.00 for a can of coke, orange squash was the same price. We ordered our starters which came out bit by bit, my grandsons chicken nuggets were barely cooked, the the duck pancakes came out piece meal, first the duck, then the pancakes, the the sauces and finally the pancakes, so the duck was cold before we had the opportunity to eat, the Mongolian lamb was very crispy and nothing else with it. The smoked chicken was very crispy to say the least. Mains were ordered, which again came out bit by bit, we ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken and got one small plate, the other two main courses were more filler than chicken. This was our last visit to the Jade Garden, which is a shame as we have been using the restaurant ever since the owners took over. The service was poor but not the fault of the server as she spent most her time running take away orders from the machine to the kitchen and then picking up the orders for the pick ups. VERY SAD DAY AS THE RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT WHEN IT FIRST...

First time we have eating here was terrible service, it wasn't busy only two tables with other people. We sat down & it took ages for the waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink! Then had to wait again, for her to order our food,! All she was doing was cleaning tables with a strong chemical spray!! which put people off their food as so strong smelling! When our food eventually arrived it was really dry over cooked, we had a shared starter & chilli chicken with egg fried rice & duck noddles,, there was only five small pieces of duck in my meal! rest was just awful noodles had no flavour, was awful. The worst restaurant meal I've ever had out, and it was for my birthday treat. Plus on top of that my husband had really bad stomach when we got home, So we definitely will not be going back really...

have been using Jade Gardens on & off for a while. I went there for a sit down meal over 10 years ago to find the owner very rude, she had no in house customer service rapour so stopped going there. I started using the restaurant again before lockdown as I thought it was under different management. This evening I ordered food to be delivered online, EST 60 mins. I called after 90mins to check. No apology, just told it was on it's way... Another 20mins later food arrived, soggy chicken balls, spring roll, chips, hardly any chicken in the curry. I called back & asked to speak to manager. The woman I spoke to was very rude, still didn't apologise until prompted. Then told me she was the director, if I wasn't happy to leave a review.... So here it is ......
