Noodle Bar Chinese Takeaway — Restaurant in Havant

Gave me and my girlfriend food poisoning. We ordered food yesterday ( sweet and sour noodles, sweet chilli noodles and sweet and sour chicken balls.) First of all we got charged slightly more than what the menu said which was fine. Then the food came quite quickly which was good but all the noodles tasted so bland with no flavour (I could've easily made better noodles at home) so we ended up not eating a lot of it. The chicken balls were really good but the sweet and sour sauce tasted completely like cinnamon and ginger to the point you couldn't taste the sweet and sour. It was honestly really really bad and didn't understand how they put so much ginger in. Really vile. So we chucked a lot of food out (I'm really not a fussy eater but this was bad). Then to top it off, my stomach felt so bad the I felt like i was going to throw up from both ends for hours hence i couldn't sleep. I felt really I'll and we spent £18 on bland food that made us both feel ill. We got recommended this place and thought it would be good with the 5 star hygiene rating but we were so wrong. Wouldnt recommend to anyone, big potions but no flavour at all. All me and my girlfriend talked about was how it was so bland and how gingery/cinnamony the sweet and sour was. Won't be...

Beef Curry Boiled Rice Plain Chow Mein Box of (chips, fried rice and 5 chicken balls) along with a sauce of my choice

First of all the price was amazing (I wont quote the price as business's change prices all the time), but yes this was a great start....

Well what can we say, the food was amazing!! The portions are big (which is nice because you do not get that these days, keep that up and don't loose that business perk). We will recommend you to our friends are the area, because you deserve the credit! I love the idea of being able to look through to a kitchen where my food is prepared, you get a feel for the passion of the food that is being made (please keep this as customers love the idea of seeing a clean kitchen) The kitchen is extremely clean and tidy. I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to my order. It seems people are having a lot of problems with the sweet and sour. I'd like to say as I first started eating it was ok but the noodles were so overcooked they were like slop. After eating a few mouths full I noticed an unusual bitter after taste like hairspray. After walking out the shop I started feeling sick and almost threw up. I really think I was either unlucky or these noodles should have been thrown away. Come on NOODLE BAR, it's in the name! You at least expect the noodles to be cooked properly. There was very little meat in mine and the chicken was so overboiled it was more like biting into a boiled potato. Cash only, all just sounds a bit dodgy to me along with the food itself. ( tax dodging most likely). I almost want to give it another go but never again. I'd be embarrassed to serve such rubbish.
