The Lifeboat Inn — Restaurant in Havant

Went to see a band there. I asked a blonde, female member of staff for some water with ice, I was told they had no ice, so I replied a pint of water. The barmaid was verbally aggressive and told me I was being rude, got the water and told me she wasn't going to serve me again. I tried to calmly explain I wasn't being rude. She was again verbally aggressive and proceeded to tell all the bar staff.

My background is customer service. I and my friends couldn't believe her response.

I spoke to the Manager and explained what had happened after she had spoken to the police following an incident. The Manager was very apologetic.

That is so not my cup of tea, BUT

I want to write a review, because I stuck at this beautiful sea front this Monday for few hours and there is ABSOLUTELY nowhere to go. Everything is closed or with seats only outside (was quite cold). Lifeboat is just a pub, with no even food in it (hence 4 stars), but it s cosy and very kind people working there. I assume they dont even serve tea in such a place, but they made me one for £1 :)) and staff is super polite (bare in mind, it is small village and usually people dont really pay attention on service there).
