I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the dining experience my party and I had at your establishment yesterday for Pancake Day. Despite our anticipation for a special meal, we left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with our overall visit.

To begin, I must address the quality of the food. The mixed platter we ordered was subpar at best. The chicken wings, while thankfully precooked and frozen, were disappointingly cold near the bone, indicating improper heating. Additionally, the tenders were severely overcooked, resulting in a tough and unappetizing texture. The use of old oil to cook them was evident, as it imparted a stale flavour that overshadowed any enjoyment we might have derived from the dish.

The hot dogs were equally disappointing, with dry and unsteamed buns that disintegrated upon the slightest touch. As for the chips, they were undercooked and lacked the desired crispiness, further adding to our dissatisfaction. Regrettably, none of us were able to finish any of these items.

Furthermore, the incessant noise from the blender used to make milkshakes was incredibly disruptive to our dining experience. The blender's volume reached such levels that it triggered a health warning on my phone, indicating a potential safety hazard. The frequency of its use throughout our meal only compounded our discomfort, and the lack of acknowledgement or apology from our waitress only exacerbated the situation.

In light of these issues, I urge you to consider investing in a new blender equipped with a sound enclosure to mitigate the disruptive noise levels. Additionally, I implore you to address the shortcomings in the quality of your food to ensure a more satisfactory dining experience for future patrons.

While my party and I were left disappointed by our recent visit, we would welcome the opportunity to return for a complimentary meal should these concerns be addressed. We hope that you consider this feedback and strive to improve the overall dining experience at...

My wife and i went to this place this evening. When we walked in the door a staff member stood in front of my wife and i and would not let us into the restaurant he said no dogs allowed my wife repeatedly said to him the dog is a service dog. She showed him the dogs service registration and the man kept saying no no no. She then said it is a guide dog the man then said no if u want to eat here you have to sit outside and dog not allowed in. I told him what he was saying is wrong illegal and against the British law. He said no. I then pushed past him and told him he needs to call someone. He told me he would call his manager i took my wife and sat down at a table. He then came over and said my manager says you can stay. I hate ignorant people because he is either Asian or because of his religion he does not like dogs that's too bad. He is in England if he does not like British law then he should get out and go to a country that has the laws he likes. I will never go there again. And i think the owners of this place should tell my wife and i sorry to our faces. But I'm sure they won't Don't eat there. Oh and my wife is indian. So I'mnot a racist I'M...

First time visiting this restaurant after driving past it for many years. Its a very small place with a nice decor. The selection of food makes your mouth water. The menus aren't very detailed regarding options such as if you can have waffle or pancakes. Which was frustrating as the prices are very expensive so you want to make sure you get what you want. There was 4 of us and we did enjoy the food but all of them could have been easily made by myself and trust me I'm no chef in the kitchen for a fraction of the price. I have been to a other chain of desert bars and the products stand out as they aren't just pancakes with sauce on. They have something with a little flair which makes you not mind parting with so much money. Service was a little odd. Staff are not assigned tables. So we kept being asked to order by staff even though another member had taken it. Kept being asked of we wanted any drinks by no less. Than 3 members of staff. Which did. Become a little tiresome. Overall the food was pleasant but way over priced for. What It was. We only had deserts and didn't try burgers or hot dogs so cannot...

Potty’s Diner – Loved it! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this place as much as I did, but wow—it totally delivered. The whole vibe is like stepping into an old-school American movie. Vinyls on the ceiling, red booths, classic tunes playing in the background… it’s got such a cool, nostalgic feel. The burger I had was amazing—juicy, full of flavour, with crispy bacon and all the good stuff packed into a soft, toasted bun. And the chunky fries? Proper golden and crispy. Just how they should be. I saw someone get pancakes and one of their gelato ice creams and now I have to come back with my family to try those—looked so good! The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Service with a smile and super helpful. There’s a big parking area outside so no stress there, and loads of space inside, even if you’re coming with a bigger group or with kids. If you’re into good food and chilled vibes, definitely give this place a go. I’ll be back for sure!

My first time at Dotty's was a pleasant one. The decoration is a throwback, you'll see pictures of celebrities gone by such as Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. The service from the staff was nice, I ordered a milkshake and it came with cream, I'm not a fan of cream so asked for it to be removed and it was done so without any hesitation, even when I said I didn't want to be a pain. I ordered Southern fried chicken with maple syrup, a combination I've never tried before but was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked together. My partner ordered the Dallas which is pancakes with bacon, sausage and eggs with maple syrup. She was not disappointed with her choice either. We both left with full bellies. I gave four stars because we both felt that our plates were quite empty looking. It would maybe be a good idea to either have smaller plates or to put some decoration around the plates e.g. some fruits etc. All in all a pleasant experience.
