Pub full of jubilant City fans and sulking United fans but the landlady allowed us to put our Cricket flag up to derision and humour. What followed was a couple of hours of a quality British pub. Like many pubs, it has had a makeover that has seen the removal of internal walls to open things up - unfortunately, this has removed the smaller rooms that added character and cosiness, and this means that it lacks the atmosphere that it once had.
I wouldn't make it my local, but it's not a bad place...
