Panaderia Blue in Glossop is a warm, welcoming, cosy little gem of a bakery. They bake amazing cakes pies, bread and pastries to take away or you can eat in. There are other places to eat and drink in Glossop, but Panaderia Blue is a different experience. The staff are so welcoming and it's unusual to find somewhere so relaxing, even though it's often full. The staff are very busy but obviously love working there and always make time to welcome you in with a smile and a cheerful hello. They go out of their way to look after you which definately rarely happens in other places. The food is prepared carefully and with a genuine interest to present it with a wow factor. You can choose from Full English Breakfast to Spanish inspired dishes for breakfast and some wholesome, healthy and delicious sandwiches for lunch. All prepared to order. If its coffee and cakes you fancy, then you are in for a real treat. This is definately the best coffee around and the cakes are amazing! You can have a beer or some wine with your lunch ifbyou like and it's also dog friendly too. Another welcoming bonus. Totally a lovely place to eat and drink and Glossop is very lucky to have this bijou delight. We'll done Lisa and all the team, you work so hard to give us an amazing experience every time. I visited your beautiful coffee shop in Glossop last Friday, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the food—it was absolutely lovely—and the coffee was perfect. You’ve created such a warm and welcoming space, and I was genuinely impressed.

However, I feel I must share something that unfortunately affected my experience. During my visit, I witnessed an older member of staff speaking to a much younger colleague in a manner that struck me as quite disrespectful. It was upsetting to see, and I felt deeply sorry for the young girl involved. To witness anyone acting in this manner is utterly unacceptable the young girl certainly set a perfect example of how to conduct herself in what was a very awkward situation and very embarrassing for her. This cast a shadow over what was otherwise a delightful visit.

I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it’s intended—with care and concern. Perhaps a quiet word with your team might help ensure that all staff feel supported and respected in their roles. I do hope the young girl is doing okay she was an absolute delight.

Cakes and coffee delicious, spoilt completely by a very unfriendly member of staff. We called in for my mum's 85thbirthday on the way back from Southport. The blond member of staff scowled the whole time and was very sharp as she placed our order down on our table. We can all have a bad day but I don't think paying customers should suffer. We're friendly people, we. Chatted to the customer on the next table to us who's birthday it was. The customer told the blond that it was my mum's birthday...she didn't say a word to my mum. Our visit was ruined and we felt very uncomfortable by this girl who looked in a bad mood and was giving us sullen looks.
