Millennium Balti — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

Absolutely superb experience. We have ordered food from here several times since it’s been under new Management. Super Owner and gracious daughter team. The food is delicious, plentiful, full of flavour and very fresh. We have several choices of eateries on the Derby Rd and in Hinckley and The Milennium Balti outshines all the others. This will definitely be our ‘Go To’ for luxury Southern Indian food and extremely polite service. Great choice, great prices. We cannot recommend it enough! The rest of our order was a chicken Naga Bhuna, chicken Tikka, Keema Naan, freshly cut salads, were superb! We even received all 3 relishes and poppadoms ( for free) 🥰 What a lovely surprise! And 20% discount on collection. I received an automated bill receipt and a thank you note on my email. I’ve never received such epic service! And having spent a lot of time in Madurai, Southern India I had high expectations for South Indian food and their food exceeded all my expectations. At first I thought "it's not pretentious...no smarmy waiters....the prices were inexpensive.....the decor is basic..authentic...again not pretentious....but very very clean.... seriously the guys take slot of pride in their little cosy restaurant...... I was expecting the usual curry...you know...different colours but taste the same....but...that was not the case...the food was prepared with love and pride....superb!...and I've been with several people who are particular ....not one complaint.....another thing....if you require no salt,no ghee...or you would like extra garlic,extra corriander simply ask...and finally apart from the drinks being inexpensive..£5.00 for a bottle of red wine!!!....again paletable....this restaurant is a hidden gem..you can forget your overpriced ,average restaurants....take the plunge if you enjoy an authentic real curry.....you will not be disappointed....if you are I'll pay for...

Poor I've ordered same from here before once last year and once today, and the same menu meal for two which states 2 pilar rice and only receive 1 when it's a set meal for 2. There excuse is that its n old menu however they haven't changed this for the last year and still charging u for the 2 rice...maybe only a couple of quid but it's not the point! They snap at u when u call to tell them.. I used to rate this restaurant but there costumer service is shocking! They must remember there costumer training and that the costumer is always right especially if there menu states it also!

Also the masala was watery,and hardly no chicken. Mushroom bhaji was not in fact a bhaji,more of satayed mushrooms with loads of onions in a pot. Fairly disappointing considering...
