Ok.. let me start with Car parking. This could be an issue if your not from this area as you might find yourself parking further than you needed to. It's likely that you will be parked in the various signed posted car parks that are around 5min walk away, but once you've made it to the restaurant you won't be disappointed. Staff - attentive, Seating - roomy, Food - delicious, Pricing - Good value. Like with any good Indian restaurant you're probably not going to order what you really would want. I tend to find myself drooling over what other people have ordered and regret being adventurous.. so much to choose from! I love coming to this restaurant with a group of friends and we all select different dishes and have a banquet of food that we all feast on. You will not go home hungry nor will it be expensive. It's all you would want from an easy night out for a meal with good friends, good food, drinks flowing and easy on the wallet. They also do a takeaways service. Food Hygiene Rating of '5'! And lastly the one other thing I like about Akash is that from the moment you step through the door you are made to feel like a celebrity,..someone of importance, someone valued!...

Not good at all. We chose to come here based on the previous reviews. We had to wait for a table, despite having prebooked. The restaurant was extremely noisy, there are so many tables crammed into a small restaurant that the noise is crazy. The service was ridiculously slow, despite there being many members of staff. We waited an age for the food to come out. Food was ok, nothing special, the lamb was dry and difficult to cut with a knife. The food was overpriced compared to equivalent indian restaurants. Ordered a takeaway for £40—nothing fancy, just a couple of breads and 3 vegetable sides. Unfortunately, the entire meal ended up in the bin after one bite. The chapatis and chips were completely under-cooked, the naans were as disappointing as ever, and the pakoras were a tasteless, soggy mess. Worst of all, two curries smelled rotten. We've dined at the restaurant once and had takeaway twice before—while it was never amazing, it didn’t completely let us down until now.
