Pretty poor experience...just didn’t come off for us. Got overcharged massively and food very disappointing. Firstly when we booked, not told the table was actually outside... they thought nothing of this when questioned, and said oh it’s warm under the heaters...we had no choice..it was ok if you weren’t sat nearest the road which was cold and noisy. The tent was open to the elements in places and my husband sat with his feet in a small amount of water for the whole meal. His meal had to go back, it was too salty, the other 3 meals were only ok. Have eaten far better Turkish food and our meals didn’t look anything like as good as those on the website. Everything was disjointed, some drinks would arrive, but not all, part of the starters arrived but not all, so some of us hadn’t started when others had finished. Then a random bowl of chips arrived out of nowhere whilst we were still eating our starters, then another table’s meal arrived unexpectedly. Ok they were busy as it was Friday night, but nothing was professionally executed. When our main courses did come, two people had no cutlery so they had to wait ages whilst they tried to find some... they had ran out! Then the best bit, we got subjected to the entertainment... oh yes - just what we needed......if you are going to inflect some bloke miming to Freddie Mercury “Break Free” at full volume on us, and later doing a poor impression of Tina Turner in drag.. can you at least make sure the person is worthy of one’s attention. We didn’t want him in our space and think he got the message though clearly all the staff thought he was good as they stopped and videoed him for ages. It went on far too long and we couldn’t have a conversation. It was a really rubbishy experience all round, but actually in the end, it was a bit out of the ordinary and memorable... for all the wrong reasons. We won’t...
Read moreWent today for a lunch as I regularly go there for evenings, and get take away often too. I was expecting the same quality and great service I was used too at Zeytin. Well this time was a different atmosphere. Had 3 course for £12.95, I thought it will be a smaller portion but when the food came out I was very disappointed. The lettuce had seen better days, when starting to turn brown then we know is not fresh. The meat was over cooked and dry (chicken shish). For dessert I ordered Tiramisu, which was ok until I discovered a huge piece of white plastic under my teeth, nearly cut my tongue. So I called the waiter over to show him the plastic I found in my food. His answer was well we don’t make this here actually, so you want another one? He literally did not care, I felt very embarrassed to be honest. He brought another one out and disappeared. When I wanted to pay literally no one was around so I walked over to the counter and then I saw one staff member having food another one sitting by the table. There was zero service or attention to me as a costumer, not a single person asked if I was happy with the food. Another thing worth to mention. Please change your drinks menu for a clean ones, they are extremely sticky and dirty, not nice to touch. Freshly printed lunch menus would be a great idea too as the one I had handed today looked like they were chewed by a dog before. Small things can make difference! I always used to recommend this place but after today’s visit I won’t. It’s a...
