Very lovely time spent here. I was immediately struck by the inviting ambience that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The decor seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern elements, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. From plush seating to subtle lighting, every detail contributes to a welcoming vibe.

The standout feature, however, is undeniably the stellar service from Natalie. The staff goes above and beyond to make customers feel not just attended to, but genuinely cared for, Natalie did a great a job in taking care of us. Attentive without being intrusive, she navigated the delicate balance of being readily available while allowing for an intimate dining experience.

The menu is of variety, offering a diverse selection of dishes that cater to a range of tastes and preferences. From delectable appetizers to mouthwatering mains and indulgent desserts, each item on the menu is crafted with precision and a keen understanding of flavor profiles.

The drink menu deserves its own applause, featuring an extensive selection of craft beers, fine wines, and inventive cocktails.

In conclusion, this pub stands out as a gem in the culinary landscape. The exceptional service, diverse menu, and inviting ambience create an experience that lingers in your memory. Whether you're seeking a casual meal with friends or a more intimate evening, this pub is a surefire choice for a gastronomic and...

My boyfriend and I went here for a brewery experience day. He received a voucher for his birthday. It was absolutely fantastic! I can’t recommend it enough. Charlie the brewer was amazing. He was really friendly, down to earth, and knowledgeable. It was passionate about what he does, and it really showed throughout.

This is so much more than just a tour. The day starts at 10am with a bacon (or veggie option) sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread, and then you get to get hands on and help brew the beer, adding malt and stirring it all round.

Throughout the day, you get to muck in and help Charlie with all of the stages of the brewing process. We had loads of questions, as we didn’t know much about the process, but he was more than happy to answer everything. We really felt like we learnt so so much, and it was so much fun to get stuck in.

Lunch was included too - we had the fish and chips and the beef burger. Both of them were great, you can tell that they take pride in their work here.

All of the beers we got to sample during the day were the ones brewed by Charlie. They all tasted fantastic, and at the end of the day you each get to take home a mini 5L keg of your choice. We bought a third one because we liked them so much.

We cannot recommend this experience enough. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area to have some more of Charlie’s beer and enjoy...

Really disappointed with our first visit to this new restaurant in Horsham. Was looking forward to the promises of gastro food & experience of local brews. No one came to explain how we ordered when seated on ground floor, which I’d have expected being only open 1 month! All our food came up cold, it must have sat in the past for too long, kitchen staff were blamed instantly, which seemed strange considering the restaurant wasn’t even half full- including upstairs. A member of management addressed our order and after 15mins we had new hot food as ordered. We did feel sadly that it was on par with Beefeater or Harvestor certainly not Gastro! There seemed to be a real lack of customer engagement which I can only put down to a new team struggling to get to grips with speed & efficiency to exceed expectations. In addition, coffee served without a spoon, saucer or sugar. When asked if everything was ok we did in fairness explain the above & to member of management. Complimentary desserts were offered which was considerate. But on the whole we felt it was a real shame after having such a great afternoon at Horsham’s Americana. We hope that the team can be given the support, training & motivation to exceed all...

We went here for a Brewery Experience Day. I was bought a voucher as a gift. It was a great day, for a novice or an experienced ale drinker there is something for all to learn. You don't just spend an hour or two having things pointed out to you then a sample and off you go. This is a proper hands on experience, where you add the ingredients and get stuck in actual brewing beer. Charlie the brewer was fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable about every step of the process and giving tasting notes. He is obviously very passionate about his job and it shows. The day started at 10am with a delicious bacon sandwich on home made rosemary focaccia bread. You get the brewing process started and then are quickly supplied with a half pint of their beer, and they keep coming. All different styles of ale and lager, every one delicious. Lunch was included too, we went for the beer battered cod, with their own beer and it was delicious. The day ends about 5pm and you get to take a 5l mini keg of your choice. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and I wouldn't hesitate to go back, it is family friendly, dogs are welcome too, great food, great staff and service. Cannot recommend it enough!

I've been here maybe a year ago and the food quality has dropped dramatically. Not only did they have a very limited menu (only burgers available thay day) but they also made us wait at least 1h+ before getting the food. It wasn't massively busy either, so we didn't quite understand why it took so long. Upon asking how long it will still take, one of the staff said that he couldn't talk to the chef since HE WAS IN A BAD MOOD and therefore he couldn't find out. Another 20 minutes passed and we finally got our food. This time, served with.. baked beans? I'm pretty sure it used to be coleslaw on the side but I guess they changed the menu. Now onto the burger: the two patties could have honestly passed as one patty. They were TINY and didn't even fill out the buns (that were already small) - we're talking less than half of the size of the burger! I don't know whether they just ran out of meat that day or not but it was a huge disappointment. After waiting an eternity to be served, paying nearly 14 £ was really not worth it. Would not come again.

Decided to try out the restaurant here after enjoying a visit to the pub last month. Tom (our waiter) was very helpful and polite, looked after us really well (even managed to get me ice cream and custard on my dessert 🤩) he was knowledgeable about the drinks available and kindly gave us a couple of small samples to taste and chose the best options for us. The food was lovely and freshly prepared, we went for the five starters (and side of chips) between the two of us which was a great mini taster of a whole variety of the foods on offer and we really enjoyed the quality of everything (my only mini bug bear was that the oil and vinegar dip was heavy on the oil and light on the vinegar, but that's just my preference and it was still delicious!). All in all a lovely evening out with the wife with top marks for service (thank you Tom!) drinks options and food.
