Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

No queue when we arrived 3 members of staff working. Took 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready & had to remind them I had paid for 2 cakes which they hadn't done. Ended up sending my hot chocolate back because it was stone cold. Was treated like I had personally insulted them & ended up leaving before we had finished our drinks due to the constant dirty looks from the staff. Listened to other customers complaining about slow service or incorrect orders whilst we were there. 1st time I have visited this costa in months because of poor service in the past. We use this costas quite often to get a coffee, but today it really was not good. The coffee machine was not working (which can't be helped) so we has tea instead. All of the white crockery is terribly stained. I asked for two new cups and they were still stained but not as bad. The milk jugs and teapots were disgusting. Your staff really should not have to deal with this. They were so polite, but most definitely embarrassed. Another customer asked for new cups too as we were there. This costas is looking really tired. Come on costas pull ya finger out and spend some money...

Very poor customer service and unprofessional, talking about customers behind counter where other customers can hear. Everything appeared to be a problem e.g: asking for sugar, which is currently held behind the counter, was given with an attitude. I asked for a wet latte 3 times and was given half a cup of froth and was met with an attitude like it was too much to even acknowledge me initially when I wanted to get it sorted.
