Favorite Chicken & Ribs St Neots — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Absolutely disgusting. Thought we should take a punt, worst decision ever. Food portion sizes stupidly small. Dry cold bland chicken, the chicken poppers were stone cold, and they didn't contain much chicken just pure batter or breadcrumbs. The chicken fillet burger meal should have just been just been a kids meal. It was also tiny and cold (the chips were red hot but didn't taste very nice almost rushed a not cooked thoroughly as I think they were surprised to see a customer tonight and thought oh we better not make the entire meal cold but still terrible, with KFC just around the corner I headed there next for a mini fillet burger and I kid you not, it was so good and tasty I felt robbed from Favorite (also a chain and franchise), I left Favorite disappointed and still hungry. The attitude of the staff didn't make me feel welcome or want to visit again in case this was just a one off. If I recall years ago, there was a Favorite chicken in Great Yarmouth and I enjoyed that so much I visited twice during my weeks stay, certainly needs work at the St Neots branch and we won't be rushing back at all...

Tried this place on the second day after opening and was very impressed. As to be expected with a new store service was a little slow while they are still working things out which is fine. Food quality is much better than a large chain nearby, chicken was very moist and full of flavour. Side orders are also very good. 3 of us ate large meals with sides for less than £30 which I’m certain would cost £50+ elsewhere. Give it a go if you are local or...
