Lately, we have been having problems with both just eat and this McDonald's (review will go up on just eat if possible). We have been going to this McDonald's for the past 15 years but with the pandemic changing with how we use McDonald's, we are abiding by the rules and ordering through just eat (as their advert says).
In the last 4 times of ordering their food through just eat in 6 months, each time we have made a large order, it is often reported as delivered even though it has not been delivered, or that the driver has lost connection. For the driver and the store, it does not affect them as it does to us as it is them who reap the benefits of A) the driver stealing our food and B) both benefiting through financial means as we normally do not get refunds as just eat deems it as being delivered, which the driver has lied about.
Each time we have bought up a complaint to the manager, they state that they have been having problems about this daily, but it seems to us that nothing has be done to resolve this hinderance. This is getting worse for our area as we have had problems with KFC too and they too say they're having to ban just eat drivers from taking order. KFC at least refunds or resolves the situation, I am not saying that it is possible to refund at least 50 of these problems a day, but there needs to be some sort of work around that stops these drivers from taking advantage of us. Uber eats, they show the name of the driver, the image of their face, their reviews and it also shows the registration of their car, so if a problem does come up, it is easier to identify who done it.
Tonight again unfortunately, we ordered food from McDonald's through just eat, but it was stolen and the just eat app claimed it had been delivered, even though it did not. Had to drive to the store to get this resolved and we still had to pay (in total twice) for the order that I never received. The manager at the store said sorry to us, but it seemed that this situation will just be brushed off as another minor inconvenience.
A shame we had to do a bad review for this store, as we have been going to this place for over 15 years and enjoy their customer service when we go in to sit, if you're doing a large order through just eat and McDonald's do not do it as yours could be stolen too...
Read moreGood old Ronald takes care of my morning coffee before work. It’s one of those habits I can’t seem to shake off - I don’t even know if I like the coffee. Sometimes it’s nice and milky, sometimes it seems to be like battery acid and other times some completely random hot water beverage.
Occasionally I’ll go for a emergency burger during the day when I get the shakes and need instant food. By instant, I mean wait behind someone who amazingly has never seen a McDonald’s before and struggles to read the menu, drive around the building and requires a life run through on the order speaker. Followed by dropping all their change on the floor - maybe even changing the order at the first window and then driving to the collection window to discuss the order further, ask for an item which I assume the store in a secrete underground bunker and requires three members of staff with matching keys to open.
Also, one of life’s questions was answered. Can you have a cheese sandwich with no cheese in it? Apparently you can, well at least with a quarter pounder with ‘cheese’....

Read moreThis is the second time I've visited your MC Donald's on London road Ipswich. The last time I came here I went through the drive through I asked for my family's meals and mine I'm a vegetarian and I do not eat meat at all. Due to medical reasons. I took my order from the window and went home. When I arrived home I checked my breakfast wrap no meat extra egg!! and it had bacon in. I called the restaurant and they made me return and collect another they were very apologetic. Today I've come to have a sit down breakfast with my family and I went to the counter and I ordered the same item a breakfast wrap no meat extra egg. I heard one of the servers ask the management for what was that order 53 the manageress Zoe said no meat extra egg. Once again I took a bite and it's got bacon in. I took this back asked for the management Zoe said sorry loads of times and brought me another wrap. I'm severely angry about your this and I'll take this further unless something is done about it. The members of staff while I was waiting were all stood together laughing & joking!
