Blend Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Kirklees

Had a cheese and onion baguette and a tuna on white bread sandwich. Fillings were plentiful and the bread was fresh. Side salad was crisp and coleslaw was tasty with added pasta which was different and quite nice.

Nearly £8 for a tuna with red onion sandwich cut into four triangles with some lettuce, a cherry tomato cut in half, a couple of black olives and a sprinkle of sweetcorn on the side seems steep but also seems to be the norm these days.

What we didn't try were the cakes which did look very nice and freshly made. Also avoided the cans of pop at £2.30 a can which I think is the most expensive I've seen around.

Blend Cafe Bar is a little hidden gem with a lovely atmosphere, happy staff and an attentive owner.

If we're in the area again we'll definitely go back and...

Not a place i would recommend , the staff are very rude , i went in for a meal before Christmas and ordered Turkey i was told the turkey had not arrived yet but they could do me Beef , i said ok , and still 1 hrs 15 mins later i had not got my meal , by this point other customers were leaving and i was just about to go when the TURKEY came but by then nobody wanted it and were leaving to which the woman said well we did tell you it would be late , and if you are upset , think what we are feeling . This place calls itself up market , but has yet to learn about good manners . I shall not be going back again especially as i have found a lively cafe...

Such a lovely place. The food was plentiful and tastey, it was all presented beautifully on the plate too! !! The staff were all kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them either.

I took my 94 year old Father for his Birthday, After our Lunch of tasty sandwiches with a lovely side salad and lovely .we decided to Share a piece of Chocolate cake as the pieces were SO big! They even put a candle in it for my Dad and played a "Happy Birthday" song. We definitely will be returning in the very near future my Dad's care home is 2 minutes away.
