Emily's Cafe — Restaurant in Kirklees

Have been coming here for years and hope to continue! Wonderful breakfasts and a welcoming atmosphere. Even when it's very busy - which it often is, with good reason - the staff are friendly and helpful. There have been times when I've arrived to find no available tables but the wait has never been longer than ten minutes. My kids are always well looked after and made to feel welcome. Veggie options are plentiful and a few options for vegans. I would love to see some dairy free milk\s and marge on offer. It'd make my breakfasts absolutely perfect that way. visited a few weeks ago on a Wednesday the lady with blond hair was just on her phone so i waited at the till until she realised i was stood there, she then put the phone down. does not look good when shes using her personal mobile phone to arrange appointments, she took my order after telling her what i wanted, she brought the food out to the table but put me off as she did not leave the cafe so definitely did not wash her hands.i wont be visiting again as it was my first visit and when you work with food and customers you should not be able to use phones like that as too many germs are carried on mobile phones. food looked very nice and presentable but after her touching my plate just put...

Where too begin, walked in really fancied a boiled egg on toast. When up to the woman at the counter and asked if they could do a boiled egg on toast swiftly followed by a no we do scrambled, poached or fried. I thought fair enough not a problem I will have the poached. Can I also get a bacon paid and waited for my food. Food came and she brought out eggs with toast with bacon on.
