Went in asking for lahmbiajeen. Were pleased when the waiter said they do have it. It was far from good. My friend reckoned they are the frozen ones you get from shops. They didn't have laban ayran which is a staple drink in Turkish cuisine. We were dissapointed at this. The falafel dish was far from anything called falafel and more like an Indian pakora. We then asked for a bowl of plain yogurt to make our own laban ayran, but they ended up misunderstanding our order and got us a plate of mutabbal aubergine instead! None of the waiters seemed to understand what yogurt was, which is shocking in a Turkish restaurant. The bread came late, the water bottles came after we had to ask twice for them. This place had 4.9 stars on Google reviews so we expected good things from it. It did not disappoint! The food was so delicious and on point. We got the lamb Adana and chicken sizzler which was so filling and packed with flavour.

Our kids are fussy eaters and even they loved the Magharita pizza and popcorn chicken with chips.

The baklava was served warm which was a nice touch and the Turkish tea was a great way to wash it all down.

Such great food and so reasonably priced.

The service from Naushad was warm, friendly and attentive.

First time I tried here a couple of weeks ago. I had a craving for a doner kebab before a pool match so I popped in on the way to Squires and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I had a caveman head on me that day so I didn't want the pitta or salad or anything else, I just wanted the meat with chilli sauce and my server couldn't have been nicer. The donner meat was delicious - the best I've had in a very long time - and they even gave me a complimentary yoghurt drink to try which accompanied the donner meat really well.
