The only reason I go to Greggs, and the only reason it exists in my opinion, are their sausage rolls. Amazing little things, these are. The criss-cross pattern pastry was always baked to near perfection, neatly laid down in rows upon rows on the large oven tray, emitting its signature golden-brown crust. Biting into one of these refreshing freshly-baked treasure chests of flavours easily made up for more than the 95p spent on it, with plenty of value left to spare. It is worth every penny, and more. From the outside, through the slight openings between the pattern lies the staple of this food item: le sausage, making up the 'sausage' part of the sausage roll. As your teeth bites through the soft texture with barely any resistance of a piping hot, seasoned sausage, an overwhelming train of taste would rain down its wrath upon your tongue, forcibly ascending it to a higher plane of existence called 'heaven', then back down to Earth for more. One can feel the presence of a slight hint of black pepper as their signature spice uniformly spread throughout the core of the pastry and perhaps a touch of garlic.
These golden nuggets are being baked every day, and consumed every second, elevating all typical Britain's minds alike. I would like to wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone leading a busy life enough to be looking for a cheap alternative to cooking and shaving off time in the kitchen. Anyone can try it, but everybody will no doubt love the darn thing, I...
Read moreYesterday I thought I was getting a student discount meal when I actually wasn't. I had done it with different items, so i was confused. I asked the new employee why I wasn't getting it even though I wrongly thought it should be as his manager said to him that i was asking for a student discount and the employee didn't seem to know what that was. I asked him for a minute why I was being charged more, and I said that his manager literally said i was asking for student discount. Due to the queue and because it was only a few pounds I just payed for it and later realized I was wrong, so no harm done.
Today however, I went in again and asked for a pizza, to which he said with a grin 'is that the free pizza you want' I took this as a little bit rude but never the less as I was wrong I said nothing. He then got the pizza and proceeded to throw it on the counter with no care and a grin on his face. This guy is so rude it's unbelievable, Grow up. Even though the day before I was wrong, I did not act like you did. I asked you questions because i didn't understand, I didn't give you a self righteous smile, make a rude remark and throw food on the counter like that with a...

Asked the lady not to put it when I saw her doing it but she had already sprinkled it. Was told that I need to say that before. Didn't mind the coffee with chocolate and understood the rule but did not appreciate the rude tone ! You need to know that there are people coming their for the...
