I was looking forward to having food from this place having been hyped up to me. I was in line and when i got to the desk to order, i was received by an old man who started off calling me 'my friend'. I asked first for a vegetarian curry which I was told was not being served so then proceeded to ask what gluten free options were available. This flicked a switch in this man and i was forcfully told that they cannot serve me any food!! I was asked do i know about the pret situation and that they will refuse to serve me anything. He then proceeded to come around the counter and face me with a sign he held saying they cannot serve me as well as pointing to another sign to back the point that HE CANNOT SERVE ME. I was so thrown by this situation and the 15 times in a row being told i am being refused as well as the multiple 'my friend' references. I was embarrassed and felt so belittled, never been made to feel so bad for having an intolerance out of my control. I left to find other food options and when i returned to meet my partner and friend who had already ordered food, the bald 'my friend' guy came over to explain his point again and again and didnt pick up the embarrassment caused and didnt apologise only to return to the kitchen and me to finally get an apology from the main boss.    Read moreWe placed an order at 18.35 on Saturday evening, fully expecting to have to wait. We were prepared for that, what we werenât prepared for was the length of time we would have to waitâŠ. At 20.40 I called to find out where it was and how long it would be. I was told it was being prepared at that moment so it would be with us in around 15 minutes. This wasnât ideal as we had two very hungry children by this point but we accepted it for what it was and waited. And waited. And waited. At 21.15 I called back to say forget it, we had had to start cooking our own food out of sheer desperation for something to eat. The person on the end of the call blamed it on roadworksâŠ. I shut that down as there are very minimal roadworks that would impact the delivery by this much, then they blamed it on being very busy, which I accept is probably very true but by this point we had just had enough. It finally rocked up at 21.25 a whole 2 hours and 50 minutes after the order was placed. It was turned away and we ate a very random thrown together meal from the freezer.    Read moreWe ordered a sultans at 8:15PM and they said it would be here by 9pm, 9:30PM I had a text saying my delivery had arrived but we still had no food, I rang the store for the man on the phone to say itâs on its way then hesitate and say itâs being cooked still! I explained to him it was supposed to be here half an hour ago and he proceeded to say they had got busy and there was nothing he could do other than get our food to us with in 20 minutes, 10:10PM came and still no sign of food so I rang the store back and explained my situation for them to say it was on its way again, then another hesitation to say the driver has just arrived! I asked to speak to the manager, the manger was very calm and apologetic over the phone and gave me his personal number to resolve this in the next time we order there and gave us two free drinks, 10:35PM our food finally arrives, very warm and looks good however when I start to eat my meal I discover 3 very short dark hairs baring in mind I have long blonde hair! This completely put me off causing me to not eat my meal, we paid a substantial about of money for a not pleasant experience, so unfortunately I will not be returning...
