Ordered our kfc via ubereats, I was really looking forward to our takeaway. The delivery was quick from uber eats. The delivery bag had our order ticket attached which was printed correctly however the contents inside were completely wrong. The staff at kfc had packed our order incorrectly. I had ordered the boneless bucket, gravy and fries as our sides. We got no gravy, no boneless chicken and no popcorn chicken (which was included) so I tried to call kfc Lancaster 3 times with no answer. I then drove down to the store to return my food and get the correct food. I was told I would have to complain to ubereats, even though it was kfc who packed my order wrong!! Baffled!! And to make matters worse I was told basically tough we don't have the food at this time of night. It was around 9.30pm. I was furious! So I had to leave with the food I had NOT ordered and that was NOW cold, great! We don't even like beans so they had to go in the bin, and I had to go without any chicken as I don't like chicken on the bone so it was just cold fries for me!! I emailed the kfc team with my complaint to be told I would have to complain to ubereats!! Honestly I'm shocked! It was NOT ubereats fault it was the staff in kfc Lancaster who packed my order wrong! The kfc team were not reading my information I had just explained, they seemed to be ignoring the issue and blaming ubereats!! So strange and very odd. So i wouldn't bother complaining as you just waste your own time and effort in explaining the situation. I did get a refund from ubereats even though it wasn't ubereats fault!! Read moreI love my KFC as a treat and last night I decided to try the delivery service. To my pleasant surprise my order arrived in good time and was still warm. Unfortunately that's where the good things end. This problem isn't down to the delivery service, it is an in house problem. They are always missing parts of your order, and same thing last night, when one orders chips and a burger you'd expect that is what you would get but no they missed out the fries and added popcorn chicken instead. Like I stated this is not the first time, some weeks earlier, I went in store and they still managed to miss a part of my order? This I really don't get, it's right there on the screen, how do they keep missing parts out, surely you just go along and tick things off in ones mind or am I hoping for to much there? On a positive note, the food has improved a whole lot and has started to resemble KFC of old where you got crispy chicken and not some soggy mess where the coating had fallen of and now sits at the bottom of your bag. Thankfully this seems to be a thing of the past. I gave them 3 stars because of missing items and not because of poor quality, for the food I give it 5 stars. Paid £6.50 with delivery and service fees before even ordering. Meal came and my 1 piece chicken side item was missing as was supercharge dip I ordered which was really disappointing. Food was cold and chips was that of a baby size. This also happened to my friend the day before where his pop corn chicken didn’t arrive. Unfortunately Kfc lancaster are not taking phone calls during all this so you can’t even call and complain and have to go through Uber eats and even then can’t leave feedback. So Hopefully someone from KFC sees this and hopefully this will help someone think twice before ordering as it seems there is a problem with accuracy at the moment and when you pay 6.50+ extra you hope what you ordered...
