The Pavillion Cafe — Restaurant in Lancaster

Never again! Visited today with a group for a business meeting. The guy was rude, abrupt and made an extremely unpleasant discriminatory comment about disabled members of our party. The woman came out and aggressively confronted another member of the group (who wasn't even in charge of the meeting) then proceeded to hurl abuse that could be heard right across the bowling green. The issue appeared to be that we hadn't ordered yet, but we were still introducing ourselves and despite asking twice if there was a menu, had been completely ignored. We had planned on the nine of us having main meals and drinks, supporting a local business in the restart after the Covid lockdown, but walked out rather than deal with such vile behaviour.

Verypleasant park cafe good tea needs to put decent coffee on the menu .cant fault the food .its being upgraded at the minute .good selection of draught ale too .needs to put a sign up that can be seen from regent road as it looks like its not...
