KFC Morecambe - Marine Road — Restaurant in Lancaster

First of all going out to fast food restaurant should be a treat and this was nothing short of a nightmare!

There were 5 adults and 8 children 1 disabled child and one new born. Other children ages from 7-14 years. We had been to Morecambe light festival and arrived for some food. We noticed the establishment was absolutely disgusting but knowing they had likely been busy after the festival ignored that (the place was practically empty when we arrived) the tables were dirty and the floor sticky. The disabled child and new born needed their nappies changed and I asked at the desk for a key as the door was locked, the young lady looked instantly terrified, and began rummaging around to be told 'its lost' I was absolutely furious and had to changey new born Infront of another family not once but twice because babies poop A LOT! This already gives me red flags and my friend had to take her 4 year old to the car to change her as she is disabled and too big to change in my new borns pram! I asked to speak to the manager and the girl shrugged her shoulders and continued to pack orders without acknowledging the fact id asked to speak to management!

I ordered our food separately to my friend and her family I ordered 2 tower burger meals! We got a child's handful of chips which were cold and both our burgers were also cold and very hard to bite into!. I took it back to the counter and was completely ignored. After a few moments I returned to my seat as the restaurant began to get full and I didn't want to create a scene. We decided we would eat what we could and leave! My friend ordered her food via the app and that also arrived cold! But with several hungry children and the fact we had been ignored we decided to make do with the bad situation.

After ordering my food I gave my receipt to the man who gave me my food and have no proof of my order.

The ladies toilets hadnot been cleaned either!

I'm very disappointed and this isn't the first time I've been here and walked into a very dirty unkept restaurant me and my friends will not be returning absolutely disgusting that I had to change my baby next to another family who were minding their own business! I am absolutely shocked that any establishment is run...

I'm writing this review 2 weeks late as I visited on the first day of a 2 weeks camping trip. It was a 40 minute wait to even order the food and then wait extra for it to be ready. I actually ordered a rice box meal but was only charged and given a rice box. As you can see from the picture of the receipt I also ordered a boneless box dipping feast to which I was not given any dips, we only realised once we was sat at the only clean table available, when i went back to the till I asked the lady and she just said we have none left and offered me mayonnaise, i replied, Would it not have been a good idea to have told me that at the time of ordering and I would have ordered something else, what is the point of a dipping feast if you have no dips, to which a lady that was in the que who had made it quite obvious she worked there (having conversations about previous shifts with staff members) called me rude. She might not have been on shift at the time but if she advertises the fact that she works for a company then she automatically becomes advertisement for that company. Once we had finished our meals we wasnt happy with the service and the state of the restaurant, there was no plates, we had to eat of the paper bags, every table was filthy and food cartons on them and the bins were overflowing, we spoke to the manager to let him know we wasnt happy...

We arrived at around 5pm it wasn't busy just a few people waiting. The seating area was absolutely disgusting and dirty, food everywhere on tables and chairs, the floor was really sticky and dirty. Bins over flowing. When asking a member of staff to please clear and clean the table we wanted to sit at we just got glared at! Very rude.

The ladies toilet was closed so had to use disabled toilet and it was worse than the restaurant! Absolutely disgusting and very dirty! The door wouldn't lock. Toilet was making a loud noise and shaking like it was about to explode.

Everywhere you looked was so disgusting and dirty, the windows covered in grease and grease covered hand prints. This kfc by far is the worst kfc or restaurant I've ever entered. Would never return and would never recommend.

Our family was very disappointed as its our closest kfc. And we were looking forward to enjoying our first kfc in a long time. was so bad we didn't order any food and left. Seeing the state of restaurant and toilets, i dread to think how bad the kitchen was. This needs addressing ASAP!
