Ali & Val's Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in Leeds

My Mum and I had a fabulous time at their Mothers Day Afternoon Tea. The food was all homemade (they even grew their own strawberry’s) and it was absolutely delicious. The service was polite, friendly and we were made to feel extremely welcome, with constant refills of drinks and Prosecco! And always making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great, it wasn’t too loud or cramped making it easy to have a conversation. We even got cake to take home with us, and flowers too! All for a very reasonable price! I couldn’t fault anything. I will definitely recommend this to anyone, it was by far the best Afternoon Tea I’ve had. And i will definitely be happy to have another one.

It does not give you the option for half a star or that is what i would of given this place . The " Full " English consists of rock hard fried eggs , anaemic bacon and sausages that contain i can only assume contain 0.00001 percent meat . I understand its a cafe and its an inexpensive option for breakfast but the quality of food is shocking . Will not be visiting again . We enjoyed an amazingly generous and enjoyable afternoon tea for Mother's Day. The sandwiches and cakes etc were all homemade and delicious. The service was friendly and fabulous, plenty of tea refills, more food offered than we could possibly eat. I would heartily recommend it.
