My experience with Burger King on York road is not going to be very good at all I am new customer to try delivery service I can’t argue about that the delivery was quick but I have ordered meal for around £30 and could have gone to another restaurant and got much better the whole entire meal was cold, hence we haven’t eaten , 2 bottles of very cold coke cola was sat on top off the hot meal so that might have made the meal cold (NOT VERY GOOD IDEA WHOEVER DID THAT). also I ordered 2 portions of onion rings 8 pieces each guess what we got 7 pieces altogether,my grandson wanted a chocolate brownie hottie, guess what he didn’t even get it,so I have a very upset grandson, and I also ordered 2 coke cola and a bottle of Fanta and you said it, it never turned up so what did I do I phoned to complain and get a resolve of this, the manager said he would refund me £7.00 only,so what about the rest of my money he has quite happily made a profit out of me he wasn’t willing to help us at all, I have never in my life known anything like this ever so now I have to end up cooking a meal for my grandson so that he could have a decent meal inside of him we will not be returning there ever and I will surely advice people to never get anything from them. There is only one thing I can say is that customer service who I rang he was very polite and tried his best to help but to no avail it didn’t go well but the gentleman George was very understanding of the situation and couldn’t apologise enough he was not to blame, he doesn’t work there but people do sometimes tend to take it out of them. It’s not there fault they are there to do a job and try and help you the customer so he gets a 5 star rating for trying to help but as for the restaurant they get no rating from me , the one star is...
Read moreBeen here a couple times now and each time I have been missing items when I have got back home. With the drive it just wasn't worth going back. Each time it has been one of the side items or smaller items such as Nuggets. I purchased one of the app deals for 2 meals for £5 and a set of Nuggets for 99p these were nowhere to be seen and tbh once home in the warmth at 11pm at night you just can't be bothered getting back out for a 99p loss. I guess this is how they make thier money though looking at the other reviews. It is also small things that annoy you too like not getting sauce with the Nuggets (when you actually get them) and also no sign of any salt etc for the chips which were not pree salted so I would expect some in the bag for us to use. Overall when they get it right it's okay but that's of it's right. Oh and that's even if someone if there to take your drive thru order (last time I went I waited 10 mins for someone to come to the window after I waited 5 minutes at the order box and drove around) after someone finally came to the window I said I thought you might be closed with how long it took and all I got was a gormless "No we're open" and a sniff. The bloke stood behind him talking about his itchy ear in a brain dead tone told me everything I needed to know about the late night staffing...
Read moreBLUF: A £13.49 Peppercorn Angus meal that satisfies hunger but not expectations – clunky kiosks, heavy-handed salt, and slapdash cleaning spoil what could be a solid Burger King stop on York Road, Leeds.
Ordering is a chore. The resistive-screen kiosks miss half your taps while pushing endless upsells, and once you have finally paid a trainee still rechecks the order instead of simply handing it over. Staff are polite yet clearly bound to procedure rather than common sense.
The food is mixed. The Peppercorn Angus arrives neatly wrapped and the beef is hot, yet the top bun feels as if it just left the fridge. Loaded Pepper Fries look good and carry a decent smoky cheese hit, but they are noticeably overpriced and over-salted for the extra two quid. The Frozen Fanta Strawberry is really just a weak, quick-melting slush puppy – hardly worth the upsell.
Décor is the expected red-chair, chequer-tile fast-food look, but basic cleanliness is missing. Hair on the table and crumbs underfoot suggest no one wiped down after the previous customer. Local teenagers on bikes are harmless yet add a faint keep-an-eye-on-your-phone vibe.
For £13.49 (VAT £2.25) you can find cleaner, calmer options elsewhere. The core burger is fine, but the experience around it needs sharper service, less salt, and a...
