Was surprised at the new look looks very clean sealant could have been a little more tidy but compared to the old tired run down place before the look is amazing and inviting … ordered noodles fried onions and prawn crackers which were cooked perfectly except they gave me two bags of crackers one was old and tasted so other bag was fresh compared the we ordered curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce we was not that I’m prey with the sauces curry sauce extremely hot and looked and tasted cheap and the sweet and sour was a questionable cherry red colour I’ve never seen before for a sweet and sour and also looked tasted very cheap the food was lovely but think they need to source...

I'm a live alone male and as you can imagine, I use takeaways often. I always buy English food, I don't like spicy food, (curry's, chilli ect). Steak n chips is my go to, but I also like the mixed grill. The best place I've found is "NEW TASTE OF CHINA". I've never had a steak n chips i couldn't eat, until today!!! The "dinner box" steak n chips is the worst I've come across. The gravy has no taste AT ALL. The steak was cooked lovely, but I'd rather eat a "tin of 'cold' peas"!!! Proper Chinese takeaway away. We've been going here 25 years without an issue. Really good quality and value, untill revamp /new owners or chef.... tried it twice and sorry to say it's not "what we are used to" OK sauce has somehow become sweet and Sour (without the sour!) And all noodle dishes (like chow main) so very dry and powdery. Chicken chewy, curry... Err?? Onions are raw / hard,.... Sorry just not for us anymore.
