Ordered from here as a 'treat' on a couple of occasions recently, given that their pricing is far higher than some of the other local options, and boy was that a mistake!

Not only are they overpriced, but their food almost always arrives cold. That's if it arrives at all.

Twice recently basic items (popadoms and rice respectively) have been missing from our deliveries.

This then results in a massive delay to us beginning our meal and settling down into some evening entertainment.

Not only that, but the drivers (who bear in mind they have quite literally just been to our house) can't seem to find it at all on the second time of asking to deliver our missing items.

These experiences have completely soured Jinnah for us and I can quite confidently say we will never order from there again.

This place has ruined curry for me for the rest of my life... because now nothing will ever compare to Jinnah! I first visited here with a friend 6 months ago and I've been back probably 10 times since. This unassuming little eatery wedged in a parade of shops on York Road just absolutely smashes every other curry house out of the water in literally every aspect. Taste, service and value for money. Sammy and his team are always ready to welcome you with a friendly face. The place is very small and gets full quickly and for good reason. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this place. Eaten here many times and takeaways also, but tonight we got a delivery and it was not good. One of the curries were wrong as asked for a chicken tikka and got a chicken korma and the other curry had about 3 pieces of chicken in it and very runny sauce like it had been watered down. Also wanted it medium heat but it wasn't spicy. It was also cold as a long delivery. Always loved a curry from Jinnah's but that was so disappointing not sure I would want to order again.
