First visit, sad circumstances as it was a funeral. That said it's a nice place, the buffet was well stocked and they came round with plates of chips. There's a good selection of draught beers et Al and plenty in the fridges. Usual spirits and a good range of premium gins (double for £5). They also have cocktail trees which I wouldn't have expected. Think we'll try the Sunday lunch at some point as the food other patrons were eating...

Great experience. Diane served us and very accommodative to dietary requirements as we needed a gluten free option. We also needed the venue to be latex free and they obliged and made us feel comfortable. Food was delicious we had Sunday lunch /roast dinner and they did a lovely kids menu for our 3 year old. The Lamb was unbelievable and overall we found the venue homely, friendly and would definitely go again.

Travel from Heckmondwike every Sat evening to drink here, the Landlord, landlady and bar staff are all very friendly and proffesional and keep an excellently stocked bar with some lovely cask ales available.
