Eataliano — Restaurant in Leeds

Food was below average and not worth the price, and the establishment seemed understaffed with very limited seating. Better food to be found next door at Juicy sushi. Wouldn't recommend and certainly doesn't live up to how it used to be.

Edit: A horrible, sarcastic and malicious response from the owner shows you all that you need to know about this establishment. Wasn't aware a takeaway can't have seating and ways to accommodate customers, that would be far too much to ask from a takeaway right? And what's this about a "soft launch", I couldn't understand it when i heard it in the shop and I still don't now. Just because you weren't prepared to open but still did doesn't suddenly exempt you from criticism. Not even going to bother with the friends remark, are you saying business is so slow that if I brought a group we'd be the only customers? a grand total of four seats just for us? I'd say get a more levelheaded employee to take care of responding to reviews but maybe this is just part of your soft launch too. Those stairs are for getting to Juicy Sushi and away from Eataliano. Also more than a little weird you said that you've closed but still have glowing 5 star reviews still coming in. Maybe you've already got your employees working on the reviews. I'd considered coming back but if the management is like this I'm not interested in a real opening. I'll bump my service rating up to two stars because this was a right laugh, good...

Today we tried Pizza, Sub(Sandwich) and Pistachio filled croissant

The pizza was a game-changer! The crust was perfectly crisp yet soft inside, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generously loaded. The melted cheese pulls with every bite, making it irresistibly satisfying. Truly one of the best pizzas I’ve had—worth every bite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The sub was perfection! Freshly baked bread, packed with high-quality ingredients and bold, delicious flavors in every bite. The balance of meats, veggies, and sauces were spot on. A must-try for sandwich lovers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The pistachio-filled croissant was pure indulgence! Flaky, buttery layers with a creamy, nutty pistachio filling that’s rich without being overpowering. Perfectly balanced sweetness and a delightful crunch from crushed pistachios on top. A decadent treat worth...

So the food itself was actually quite nice and it was made pretty quickly. Although it was pricey for what it was.

The younger female member of staff wasn't exactly inviting and was very blunt with her answers - especially as a first time customer who doesn't really know how to order specific things - definitely not "service with a smile", luckily the older member of staff was a bit more inviting and she was the person who actually cooked the tasty food very quickly. Could have been 2 stars due to the customer service, had it not been for the reasons ✅ mentioned above

All in all may go again due to the tastiness of the food, but the price and customer service is putting me off from going...
