Earlier this week, my friend and I set out in search of dessert after our meal elsewhere. Considering the consistent queues we had witnessed since its grand opening, we were hesitant to visit Fluffy Fluffy Leeds. However, as we had time to spare, we decided to finally experience their renowned pancakes, regardless of the potential wait. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted by the welcoming staff at the till. We were informed that our order would only be taken once tables became available – a reasonable policy given the restaurant's popularity. Surprisingly, our anticipated wait of uncertain duration turned out to be a mere 15 minutes.
We opted to share a single serving of their fluffy pancakes with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas, as well as ordering individual strawberry matcha drinks. The pancakes arrived swiftly, followed closely by our drinks. Both the food and the matcha won our approval. However, a gentle suggestion for the staff would be to synchronise the delivery of all components of the desserts together. Our Nutella, for instance, was brought to us in a miniature creamer a few minutes after the pancakes had been served, with knives arriving separately to the forks too.
Recognising that Fluffy Fluffy Leeds is a new establishment, I acknowledge that the staff is still honing their service and etiquette in the hospitality industry. Despite these minor complaints, my overall experience was positive, and I must commend the South Asian/Middle Eastern gentleman who I assume was the manager. His hands-on approach, diligently working alongside other staff to clean tables and attend to patrons, was truly impressive. In comparison to other dessert restaurants in the vicinity, I've rarely encountered a manager so actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Thank you to Fluffy Fluffy Leeds for a delightful visit, and I look forward to seeing how they continue to refine their service...
Read moreThis franchise, now recognised across the UK, first launched it’s signature soufflé pancake in Toronto, blending a Canadian staple with the airy and light texture that East Asian desserts are known for. With 12 UK branches and 3 more in the making, the closest location to me is currently the Leeds branch, and I am so lucky that one of my good friends took me for my most recent birthday.
My friend brought along her little girl Oliwia, a food critic in the making. I’m not sure who enjoyed theirs the most! Seriously, these pancakes are like munching on delicious clouds. They’re so airy and light it’s unreal. They were still filling, although I probably could have had more than one.
We enjoyed;
Pistachio Soufflé – I mean I HAD to. So good. Biscoff Soufflé Signature – fresh cream & fruit We all loved the pancakes, Oliwia especially enjoyed her fresh fruit (good girl!). It’s an; order then grab a seat type place, so it could be tricky when busy, but absolutely worth a visit. I enjoyed a fruit Iced Tea alongside my pancakes so that it wasn’t too sickly. Fluffy Fluffy also do cheesecakes, croffles & griddles and some savoury dishes as well. Little on the pricey side, especially for drinks, for what feels like a casual place to eat.

Read moreMy daughter suggested we try Fluffy Fluffy with my nine year old grandson (who is a HUGE fan of pancakes!)- must admit I’d not heard of the place, the social media hype having clearly missed me 🤣🤣🤣. We expected a wait, especially on a bank holiday Saturday afternoon but we were only waiting about 20 minutes to order and get a table and, although we’d been advised by the staff we would have a wait for the pancakes, they arrived about five minutes after we’d been seated. Oh and how lovely they were! I went for strawberry with maple syrup and my grandson for Nutella (without the fruit cos he’s nine and chocolate will always beat fruit in his world!) - his arrived with maple syrup as well as chocolate sauce which was a welcome surprise. My daughter opted for the Oreo croffle which was also amazing ( obvs I had a try) . I had an iced salted caramel latte and my daughter a chocolate/hazelnut latte both of which were great, though the drinks were slow to arrive, we’d pretty much finished our food, though the staff member did apologise for delay and they were in takeout cups so we took them with us. Overall absolutely fab and we will definitely be back! Having tried the croffle I can imagine it being amazing with savoury toppings, I noticed you had one savoury option for it, am hoping you’re planning to introduce more as reckon...
