This place is amazing for cocktails! 2 for 1 every day, pretty much all day apart from their busiest time which is 7pm - 9.30pm. Many cocktails to choose from and they're all amaaaazing. I would definitely recommend the Kingston Solero (pictured) which literally tastes like a Solero ice lolly and the pineapple daiquiri is too good to miss 🤤 I've not tried the food, but must admit it smells gorgeous every time I've been in. I recently tried the strawberry daiquiri and it's to die for! *UPDATE* I finally went for bottomless brunch and it was fab! My friend and I shared a Shake Stack Burger and the Chicken Roti Wrap. Both were nice but lacked a little flavour. The West Indian Hot Sauce they provide on the table really helped though! We got the chance to try cocktails we wouldn't usually try and found that we like many of them although we will be sticking to our usual when we next go. Our server, Shey, was really helpful and guided us through the process. She was amazing. Hope we have her as our server next time we go! **Update: do not try the Mac and cheese. It's absolutely awful, has no flavour and is so stodgy. The Kingston Chicken is nice though 😊

I had been waiting to go try the food for years but finally I managed to get a table for 3 of us. We ordered - 1x jerk out prawns(starter), 1x jerk out wings, 1x half jerk chicken, 1x mac and cheese, 1x West Indian curry goat with rice and peas, 1x West Indian curry goat and spicy fries, 1x festival THE GOOD… Firstly I couldn’t complain about the service as our server was really nice and on point. The virgin raspberry reggae mocktail was ok. Garlic pit prawns were just ok THE BAD… The jerk pit wings tasted burnt lacked flavour. Didn’t taste of real jerk. I have never tasted such bland CURRY GOAT. Tasted really off. The meat had a lot of fat and was chewy. The onions were soft and left to soak so were crunchy. There were little square and rectangle potatoes that just tasted bland and hardish like the were thrown in for 2 mins. The sauce hadn’t been left to marinate long enough and/or the spices where not authentic so it lacked any real flavour The Mac and cheese looked more like macaroni cheese than anything. My friend had the jerk chicken. The chicken was fine but it wasn’t jerk it was literally jerk with a marinade topping. Nothing soaked in and the chicken just tasted more burnt than anything. Rice and peas, well you may has well have just given me packet rice because that wasn’t good either. I should have known better when the place had not one Caribbean chef :( Presentation was nice but food tasted bland. I don’t waste your money. NOTHING TASTED AUTHENTIC. Better food can be ordered at the yard food shop for less than half the price we paid. Gutted!!!! I WOULD BE SCARED TO RETURN AGAIN even to just try a different dish. Put me off for life. Unsure how it has got such high reviews but I’m guessing it wasn’t from people who have tasted true authentic Caribbean dishes.

Love this place - coming over to Leeds from the US and this place is always on my hit-list of places to visit. The food is fantastic; the cocktails are delicious; the bar staff are swift, efficient, and super at managing the bar and drink orders from the tables; and Scott was masterful at making sure the restaurant was running like a well oiled machine. It was stupendously busy for a Tuesday evening, so if you are expecting hand on foot wait-service in those conditions, that's definitely unrealistic. The food was awesome - plantains were sweet and tasty, the ribs fell off of the bone, the cheese and jerk fries has cheesiness on the top and soaked in jerky juices at the bottom, and the curried goat had some real spicey kicks to it. Fandabydosey!

Fantastic food good diners alongside we had food and cocktails I had the goat curry very tasty. I didn't take any pictures this time. Our host was Amy but Amy was finishing her shift Amy took the time with us to help wife with turtle bay app. We then had Becky as the next host who was just as efficient as Amy these girls do a good job constantly on their feet. We are planning on coming back but for bottomless brunch Friday 15th September I will have this for my birthday. Came back 15/09/23 and again 22/09/23 bottomless brunch both times. The second time our host was Anna, you know actually all staff in this turtle bay are fantastic even the chaps behind the bar recognise and remember us 😉. This is such a chilled out place.

Fantastic caribbean food in a wonderful vibrant restaurant. It was our first time here and we didn't know the chain but we absolutely loved it! We were looking for somewhere different to eat, to make a change from the usual pizza, pasta, burgers, etc, and chanced upon the restaurant in the middle of the city. The service was super fast and friendly and the decor and atmosphere just put a smile on our faces. The food was excellent - new tastes and smells and that was before testing the different sauce flavours. We will definitely be back!
