I went to My Lahore just off Kirstall Road, Leeds for the first time, early on a Sunday afternoon. It was an impromptu visit and we had not booked. The restaurant opens at 1:00pm and we arrived there a few minutes before opening. Parking is provided on site which was handy as I was there with my wife and 11 month old child so no need to transfer to prams or pushchairs. On entering the restaurant we were kindly greeted and asked if we would like a high chair providing with our table. Replying we would like a highchair we were asked to take a seat by the door and our table would be prepared. On taking a seat we were able to look around the interior of the restaurant and both my wife and I were immediately impressed. First impressions were good and the restaurant appeared clean, modern and colourful. It takes the look of an up market cafe rather than a sophisticated restaurant, but this should not take anything away from the quality of the furniture, fixtures and fittings which are good. Within a minute of being seated our waiter came to collect us and we were shown to our table with the aforementioned highchair in position as requested. Reviewing the menu we were immediately impressed by the wide selection of food offered on the menu. My Lahore brands itself as a British Asian kitchen and it achieves that balance well, although I would suggest there is an element of American diner, with burgers, fries, milkshakes and sundaes featuring in the menu. The waiter serving us was friendly and courteous even stopping to smile and interact with our child which was nice to see. I ordered an Asian dish of chicken byriani. My wife ordered a chicken baguette with a side of sweet chilli fries. We also ordered some drinks ( by the way there is no alcohol license here ) which arrived shortly afterwards. While we were waiting for our main the manager came over to ask how we were and to ask if our child wanted a colouring book to entertain him. Although too young to undertake colouring it was nice to be offered. After a moderate amount of time our food arrived and was delivered by the kitchen staff to the table. Our initial impression was good. The food was hot and had clearly come straight from the kitchen and had not been sitting on a hot plate before coming to our table. This is a big bug bear for my wife and so instantly scored some good points. The next point to notice was the portion size. These were good portions, and by that I mean large but not ridiculously large that you would not be able to finish. The food was tasty and my wife was very happy with her food. My byriani was good and not greasy at all; sometimes a case with this dish. A slight criticism is that there could have been slightly more chicken in the dish. Again during the meal the manager came over to ask if all was ok with our food including the level of spice in my dish ( I asked for medium and it was ). Having finished the food we looked at the dessert menu for a weekend treat. Choosing a sundae and the strawberry cheesecake we were both pleased again with the portion size and quality. Our overall impression of the restaurant was good. My Lahore seems to get the balance just right on number of fronts. This runs from the British Asian menu to the look and feel of the décor. What stood out for us most of all was the value for money which is offered here. Sure it's not the cheapest place, but neither is it the most expensive. What is hard to beat is the quality and quantity of what you get all for a reasonable price.

After so many good reviews I thought I would try this place what a mistake! Rude staff & awful Microwave food. When we first arrived we was seated and the waiter said get the menu on your phone scan that which made me think straight away we had come to the wrong place. The menu was that small on my phone I could not read it so I was then given a proper menu within 2 minutes of looking I was asked if we was ready to order and I politely asked if the waiter could come back. One the waiter came back we ordered 2 Starters Fish Pakora for my friend and I had the Chicken Tortilla Strips & for Mains we ordered Chicken Baked Parmesan no Chillies, Desi Chiken Stir Fry with Noodles, Sweet Chilli Chips, Onion Rings & Cheesy Garlic Bread with 2 cans of 7up. The waiter was miserable he didn’t speak to us ask how our day has been nothing just asked for the order and went. About 10 minutes later all the food arrived together both starters and mains I said to the waiter we ordered a starter and main separate and didn’t want it all at the same time the waiter just looked at me with a dirty luck didn’t apologise or anything so I said it will have to do. Both starters were nice Fish Pakora & Chicken Tortilla Strips but but the time we had eaten our mains were cold my Desi Stir fry looked like it had been warmed up in the microwave it was very dry and not enough Sauce and my friends Parmesan came with chillies on it when we had asked for it without. The onion rings were not fresh and frozen. The best thing about the meal was the Sweet Chilli Chips. We won’t be back again rude staff and poor warmed up food!

Not the best of car parks but a reasonable number of spaces . Staff were very welcoming once we entered the restaurant and we didn't wait too long for a table considering it was Saturday and very busy. The decor and ambience just as pleasant as any other My Lahore restaurant I have visited. First time I've tried the mixed grill and really liked every item on the platter. Mango lassi not great but can't say really bad either a better option would have been one of their mocktails. The big disappointment for me was the dish I have eaten in 2 other branches did not taste anything like it should have(desi chicken stir-fry)and hence the 3 stars. Came back a year later and really disappointed with the food . Again it was a Saturday and really busy but didn't take long to get seated. The staff were great and very attentive. Was really looking forward to the mix grill but really not happy about some of the items being piping hot and others barely warm. Not sure if they were having issues with the microwave but the mix grill just did not taste as if it had been freshly cooked. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked and desserts were excellent. The star of the show was the chips but I didn't make a 240 mile round trip for chips . Will not be returning to this or any other My Lahore and stick with smaller restaurants where it is really just about the food and not just taking pictures to post.

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times, and each experience has been consistently disappointing. Despite numerous requests, my orders are not being handled with the necessary care, resulting in food arriving in poor condition. It is the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure that all food items are packaged and delivered properly, so they arrive in good condition. This is not something that should be left for the customer to remind them of every time an order is placed. I have communicated this issue multiple times via phone and messages, but it remains unresolved. Today, when I spoke to the manager again which I already have many times in the past , I was met with a dismissive response, stating that it is not their responsibility if the food arrives damaged. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. Ensuring the safe and proper delivery of food is a basic expectation from any restaurant offering delivery services. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to their packing and delivery standards. Customers should not have to repeatedly request that their food be handled properly.

MyLahore has and always will be a packed restaurant. The menu contains such a broad range of foods that there’s guaranteed to be something for you. Despite very quick service, the restaurant is always so busy that you can expect to wait a minimum of 20 minutes. The food itself is ok but not fantastic. I felt like the flavour, seasoning and sauce has been toned down over the years. Meals appear pre-made and I could not help but notice that the menu is no longer great value for money. All that being said, MyLahore Leeds impressed me with the level of service, customer care and attention to detail. Our waiter Adnan was very hospitable and did everything he could do serve my table of 10. The staff here all do their best to seat you down quickly and serve you even quicker. Overall, great for big groups and families. But don’t expect too much from the food and make sure you’re prepared to wait for a table.

Very impressed. I was staying at the hotel opposite and could smell the food... So I walked over... The staff were very quick to greet me and I was seated straight away. It seemed to be a very busy period. The member of staff who waited on my table was very friendly and helpful. I only had a small amount to eat. I chose the butter chicken (thigh, medium spice) with a garlic naan. The food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious! Great portion size and the flavour was fantastic. Not too hot, but with a little spice 👌🏼 I just had simple ice cream for dessert, but the other desserts looked fantastic! Other members of staff stopped to talk to me which was nice too. I would 100% recommend this restaurant based upon my recent experience.
