The food was good, but the young female waitress (not the one wearing a head scarf) was the most rudest and unprofessional waitress i've ever experienced at a fine dine restaurant. First of all she was too busy hugging and chatting to a person she knows that just came in, instead of helping us with a query we had, and other tables. A few minutes later she then just literally dumped our plates at the start of the table instead of placing each plate in front of us like a normal waitress. Her attitude was appauling as well as if she couldn't be bothered or had an agenda against us for no reason. To spend that much money and be given customer service like this is unacceptable, and ultimately to a degree ruined our whole experience. I didnt catch her name but she should be fired immediately. We also came down all the way from the east midlands to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and they didn't even have the decency to offer us any complementary tea or desert after spending so much on starters and main course as well. Almost all the time we have visited persian restaurants outside of east midlands we get offered this, however with this restaurant on two occassions now (previously a year ago) they havent done this. This should be changed and they should offer this to every customer who travels a long distance to the restaurant. The staff kept on looking and watching us when we were eating and to other tables as well, which was very unpleasant. This needs to be addressed immediately. We also wanted some iranian desert from the menu after, and we got told they had none left even though it was only 8pm! So overall food was good, but awful service (apart from the owner who was kind) and like I mentioned the female waitress should be replaced immediately. I'm sure many other people have had similar experiences with this...

If you're seeking authentic, delectable Persian cuisine that leaves your tastebuds tingling for more, look no further than this phenomenal restaurant! The food here is simply remarkable, a real testament to the rich and vibrant Persian culinary tradition.

Every dish, each carefully prepared and cooked fresh daily, transports you straight to the heart of Iran, with each bite resonating with the true essence of Persian gastronomy. The delightful balance of flavours, from their mouth-watering kebabs to their sumptuous stews and fragrant rice, is truly unparalleled.

The salads are a revelation! So fresh, you'd think the vegetables were picked just moments before they made their way to your plate. The tangy, crunchy, and vibrant salad provides the perfect accompaniment to the main dishes, enhancing your overall dining experience.

What sets this place apart from others is not only its exquisite food, but also the heart-warming service. The owner, a paragon of hospitality, brings a personal touch that makes every visit memorable. His warm and friendly demeanour makes you feel not like a customer, but a guest in his home.

Over time, we've become regulars here, not only because of the unforgettable dishes but also the comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. It's a place where you're treated like family, and this unique dining experience keeps us coming back for more.

For all food enthusiasts craving authentic Persian fare, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Brace yourself for a culinary adventure that your palate won't...

Location is not too far outside of Leeds city centre, with plenty of bus services passing by. The food and drink is outstanding (especially the lamb Bakhtiari, ayran/doogh yoghurt drink and saffron tea) and the portion sizes are enormous!

In addition, the prices are are excellent with each main meal dish costing an average of £15.00, something similar from other restaurants would cost double this price. As the portions are so enormous, you may not be able to finish eating all of the food. However the staff are very kind, helpful and courteous and will provide you with a box so you take the leftovers back home to enjoy the next day.

I would advise you to book a table in advance as seating capacity is limited (especially with covid restrictions). The only downside is that although the parking is free, it's on the main road and is limited, with the surrounding (student) being a little dodgy. Furthermore, as there are other restaurants/takeaways nearby using the same free car parking it may be the case you have to park further away and walk it to the restaurant.

Overall, to conclude, a fantastic little Persian restaurant, offering enormous portions of tasty food at great prices. I have been here several times, would definitely come here again.

The photo provided is the haftsin special (lamb and chicken Bakhtiari with lamb chops etc), with doogh/ yoghurt drink and a portion of both saffron rice and chips. The portion is large enough for too, and there was still enough leftovers to...

3.5*/5 - The meat kebabs were very good - tender and hot. Plenty of nice complementary sauces. One negative is that the lady refused to swap a herb salad (overpriced) with something else after I said it was not to my taste and I'd barely touched it. The lady said nothing as I mentioned this and simply said "We can't swap it" when I asked. She also was looking away and smiling to other people as I was trying to order another dish! Prices are above average but quality is great. The lamb fillet is about double a lamb mince but worth it IMO. Extra skewers are pretty good value. I also ordered a chicken soup to use with the rest of my rice from the kebab meal. It was a bit bland but went well with the rice. As for dining experience, it is a small restaurant and it became busy and loud while there with some kids being noisy near the entrance for 10 mins as their parents chatted with the owners. This was a bit off putting. I would expect better side dishes and probably a little more meat for the price. I would certainly expect better service.

My sister visited from back home and spent the day in Harrogate, on way back we ended up here luckily, they accommodated us despite being more than 12 people without a booking, amazing food! Sister has lived in Iran for 4 years and this tasted better than actual Iran food, Mirza Ghasemi was so balanced and tasty, we also had Ghorma Sandi which again was lovely. Big big portions that none of us could finish despite being starving! If we ever end up back in Leeds, we will definitely go back again. Big shout out to Nami who was top class and made us feel at home.
