Lovely food and drink, terrible service! The young lad who served me was unfamiliar with the basic pie menu and the offers being advertised. The ordering process was hard work as a result. When the food arrived my wife's order was missing mash and gravy. Even when I produced the receipt clearly showing the order it took him some time to stop questioning that they had got it wrong. I had almost finished my meal before he returned with my wife's plate. It shouldn't have surprised me that when my wife cut into the pie she found it was the wrong one, steak and Stilton rather than chicken and mushroom. If you want to save your hearing go somewhere else. Music too loud at 95db average. Went to a quieter corner and it was bearable. But when bought another pint they decided to close off the quieter area. So I went outside except the guard said I can't sit outside with beer, while there's 3 empty tables for what reason? The owners of this pub are some of the most disrespectful people you'll find. Nearly stripped of their license (god that'll be the day!). No care for local residents, loud music all the way from 11am to 4am. Gross clients stumbling onto our private gardens, fighting and throwing up everywhere with children watching. Owners 100% aware of this as council has been in touch but they continue regardless. If you care about drinking at a respectable venue I'd advise going elsewhere.
