Tasty Kitchen & Coffee — Restaurant in Leeds

Unorganised and dishonest staff. Table for 2 people, we arrived at the cafe at 12.30 and sat down immediately. Menus handed. Half an hour later, a waitress comes and takes order first from a family sat next to us that had arrived 5/10 mnts earlier while we were waiting for half an hour already . I follow her to the stand to ask if we can have our order taken… she comes, takes our order. 10 mnts later the whole order for the family next to us arrives. In the meantime we have not even been served our drinks (one coffee, one tea and one smoothie). Food comes at 1.20pm. I mention that we still haven’t had our drinks. The only capable member of staff, apologises. Another waitress comes and says “we made your drinks and accidentally served it to another table”. I don’t believe for a second that another table would have received someone else’s order and I don’t believe that another table ordered exactly what we did at the same time as us. We came in this morning at 9.55am, there was two ladies but instead of welcoming us they just looked at us, we asked if they where open yet and they said not yet but have a seat. We sat down and picked our breakfast, we got the pancake stack with scrambled egg, bacon and syrup £9.49, and the sea salt and rosemary stack £8.95. The portion sizes of the sea salt and rosemary stack was very small for the price. The pancakes were undercooked and very doughy and the scrambled eggs tasted like water. The bacon was nice though. We also got a pot of tea which came to £5.86 which is ridiculous for a tea bag and some water, I also found it very strange they gave us a tea pot full of hot water as well as tea pot full of tea, still baffled by this. Service wasn't great the servers where very monotone and the cafe itself was freezing cold, wasn't a comfortable...

One of the worst cafe’s I’ve ever been to, the breakfast was overpriced for what we received.

The eggs and bread were okay, but asides from that we waited 20/25 minutes for our food which was ridiculous.

the bacon and sausages were very uncooked and pink, the mushrooms looked like they’d be in the frying pan for hours and weren’t very pleasant to eat. I only ate the food as my partner said it was fine and I just wasted my money and in this cost of living crisis, it’s not affordable to do so, but I knew it was NOT cooked well and now I’m starting to feel unwell and I do think it was because of this.

The toilets were not up to a clean standard in my eyes and had stuff dripping from the taps and the soap dispenser, it was all absolutely gross
