It’s a lovely restaurant, the booth seating is very comfortable, we went there for lunch , the restaurant wasn’t very busy at the time, when the waitress came to us to ask if we want to order the drinks, because there was only one drink menu and there were 3 of us, only one of us had really seen the drink menu, so without looking at the menu I just randomly ordered a Coke Zero, then at this point I suddenly had a glance of the drink menu and realised there are some special drinks like bubble tea , so I was thinking maybe I would like to change the drink , so I was a bit hesitate, and because I was slow , I could see the waitress was not really patient and gave me a “look” and showing she wasn’t really impressed, then we had ordered the drinks and she said in an impatient manner : if we need more time to order the food, so I said yes, but then she never came back to take our food order and I had to ask another male waiter to take our order. The food is okay, I tried the new Crab fried rice, I thought it would be some crab meat stir fry with the rice, but it was like a small portion of fried soft crab on the side of the fried rice. It’s actually a bit pricey with the service charged added. Over £70 pounds for 3 of us.

Rude male manager. I went there this weekend (Saturday)to grab a bite. I ordered a ginger ale, prawn pad Thai and the mini rice and mango for pudding. I was seated in the outdoor area due to heavy footfall at the time, as I saw the inside getting more empty I asked to be seated inside and I was moved. I waited around 35/40mins for them to bring my desert, and to my surprise I was presented with the bill (without asking for it) I told them I was still waiting for desert and so they took it away. I was then given my desert and before I was even half way through the bill was dumped on my table again by the male manager. I explained to one of the waitresses that I was not done yet and she removed it once more. The manager then approached my table again and insisted the bill be paid (once again before I was done) as he needed the table. There were plenty of empty spots both indoors and outdoors and I couldn’t see anybody waiting. I was tending to work on my phone and wasn’t bothering anybody. Overall it really dampened my spirits in my first visit to Leeds. The noodles were not great but I enjoyed my drink and dessert.

The food was very delicious and amazing (kudos to the chef). The staff was okay, me chanical but they are fine. But the prices are mental when you pay 3.30 for a can of coke and 3.50 for an extra portion of rice. Now the reason i ordered and extra portion of rice was the portion size. It was too small for the red curry portion presented with it. So if i used all the curry on the forst portion it would havw been too much, the rice will be soggy and the flavour will be too strong to be enjoyed or appreciated, but the second portion was too much for the curry to drench it properly to be enriched with the flavours of the curry. I really recommend they resize the portion of rice to suit the portions of the curry. Still, flavour wise it is amazing and spot on, the lemon grass the chilli, the ginger everything was present and a very qmqzing balance.

Couldn't complain about the food, fantastic.

The only issue was when we booked, we got an email saying we could order off the Thai fest menu because there were more than 6 of us.

The menu stated 3 courses would be £25. We never got offered this menu when we arrived, I asked 2 members of staff that didn't seem to know what I was talking about, then finally the manager did, but she said something had changed. She finally got the menu to us but stated it had changed from £25 to £30.

Then the confusion started when 2 of us ordered off that menu, and we only got one plater. The menu does indicate that it's for 2 persons, but doesn't say that you have to share it with the other person who's ordering off the menu. We thought it was just clarifying that it is big enough for 2 persons. Had they explained this to use before we ordered off the menu, then we would have understood. The menu is very misleading.

However, we did kindly receive 2 free drinks for the misunderstanding. Although we did ask for another platyer, we were told it can't happen.

We did enjoy ourselves afterwards, the food was great and the staff were very kind and apologised for the...
