If you like rock music you will love this place.
Found the bar whilst looking for another a few weeks ago. I am so glad we did, we opened the door and the sound of rock music and the sweet smell of incense sticks burning greeted us and welcomed us. The staff were really good and friendly. The music was great and not to loud which is refreshing. So me and my missus didn't have to shout at each other when we were talking.
I would have stayed all night but we had a table booked at another bar and as we were leaving there were a group of musicians walking in so I presume there was music on later.

Read moreLocated near the entrance to an arcade and has a small outside seating area on the street if you want a smoke and a few tables under cover in the arcade.
Advertised as alternative but not very much except maybe the toilets (with some interesting quotes on the walls)and the ceiling above the bar but the music was pop rock at least.
Drinks selection was pretty standard with nothing that stands out and shot prices were silly high and almost as much as a pint.
There is an upstairs area where they have live music and a bar that has no drinks just lights on, guessing this area can be hired out.

Read moreI wanted to like this place as it reminds me of the type of bars I would go in back in Uni. I've stopped in twice, once with colleagues and once with my wife. The first time was find and we got the deal on Jagerbombs.
The second time wasn't great. The glass she got for her drink was filthy so we replaced it. We then realised it was the ice in the glass that has black specs in it. Having worked in a bar I know this is from them not cleaning the ice machine.
Overall I like the vibe of the bar and they have a decent enough beer selection. If we didn't have the issue with the dirty glass/ice I'd probably have given it...
