Have gone to Singhs a couple of times and can't say that I'm totally sold on this place (even though i have a singh in my name as well haha). Their Chole bhature is to die for, probably go as far as to say, the best in Leeds even. Bhatura are absolutely fresh and somehow have no residue oil on them, something which is rare is many restaurants. Even their samosas are top tier, brilliant aloo to crispy exterior ratio. Somehow they only have samosa chaat in their restaurant menu and not plain samosas, but both available on ubereats which I find weird (although you can ask them and if lucky, they provide you plain as well). The samosa chaat tasted good as well, but didnt have enough curd or chutneys to properly balance chaat as a whole. Kulchaas. Top tier. Not many places in Leeds that serve kulchaas but take my word, if you wanna try, theirs are the best ones. Now to the sad part, we ordered their Paneer Masala and it was quite a dissapointment. It had big mustard seeds and the curry tasted quite pulpy. It had a south indian flavor profile (which I love when its prepared well enough) which I didnt expect in a punjabi restaurant. This was the first curry I have tried at Singhs so I'm scared to try others but their Thalis looked good so maybe I'll give them a go next time I'm there. Overall, a decent experience. One thing ended up kind of ruining the overall meal but nonetheless, the good overtakes the bad and Jas (our server) was really kind too.

I did a quick Google search for food near means Singh's was recommended. I decided to give it a try as it was a short distance from where I was. I turned up, on street parking just outside 👍🏾. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile and shown to my seat (table for one). After a quick scan through the menus , I decided to order: Tea cardamom Saag paneer Mixed kulcha Dhaniya naan 2 gulab jamun - dessert First out was the tea. It tasted soooo nice, spicy and sweet. I could've drank ten cups of it. After a few minutes waiting the mains arrived. The Mixed kulcha was delicious! The blend of flavours were perfect. Two dips came with it, one hot, one cold , both perfectly complimented it. The saag paneer was presented in a metal container and looked fantastic. I ordered a naan to go with it. It seemed as though whatever you order here tastes sooooo good. I was beginning to get full only to remember I had a dessert to get through also. My dessert: Gulab Jamun - As expected, absolute winner! Warm, sweet and soooo soft. I completely forgot I was full. The portion was perfect! Conclusion: this place is a hidden gem. I have passed it a few times but, had no idea what it was . Thanks Google for the recommendation. I will definitely be back and will also be recommending to others

Our experience at Singh's in Leeds was absolutely brilliant. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka for starters, which we loved. For mains we went for Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Punjabi Chole with tandoori roti and salad. Each of the items tasted as they should do. Especially the taste of the Dal Makhni and the butter chicken was authentic. The portions sizes were sufficient for the 4 of us (4 adults) and the amount of spice was just right as the kids enjoyed the food too. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They ran out of the dessert we requested for the staff very politely apologised, but then offered us Gajar Ka Halwa which was a special as it wasn't on the actual menu, which was such a sweet gesture ❤️ They have Thumbs Up on the drinks menu 😃😃😃!! The ambience was very pleasant too. On road parking was easily available right in front of the restaurant and also on the road next to it. There were so many other items on the menu we wanted to try but we'll probably save it for next time. I absolutely recommend Singh's Leeds to any one looking to enjoy some authentic Punjabi food.

Disappointed, Please accept Uber eats discounted order.

Sat Sri aka all

I am NHs worker and have a discount coupon to apply, which is given by Uber eats . I was so hungry and tiered after my shift ( 7:30 pm), and I really want to try Indian street food , and I read a review was fantastic in this restaurant. Really want to try the food and I have some Punjabi friends in india , there are so kind and they are so generous about food offerings as for as know.

I was tried to order through Uber eats since I am so tired to cook after long shift.

The order was successful and it’s showed on the way but i didn’t know there is some technical error they cancelled my order but still showing on they way. We all know in Uber eats there is one option in app that we can contact only restaurant , there is no way to get help from side ubereats specially especially limited time. Finally I called restaurant , they doesn’t give any proper information , first said they cancelled order ( wasn’t update due to error) and they said we don’t receive the order at all , that is make me think. Because I worked a restaurant before and I know how Uber system work in restaurant. There doesn’t give any proper support in this order.

Then I got update after 2 hours my order has Been cancelled , if I know before I would order something or prepare something, and I am really hungry.

Then I order again , they cancelled my order , thank god this item I got notification instantly they cancelled my order. I have small doubt why they cancelling this specific order.

Again order next day same, they cancelled order. Finally I figured it out they been cancelling all the discounted order.

I don’t know what is the contract between Uber eats and restaurant ( specifically regarding discounted order).

Personally , Uber eats giving this code to support student and NHs workers in this pandemic situation. I think restaurant also needs to support. And I didn’t expect from singhs restaurant because I know they are so generous on food offerings and help people.

I am not sure exactly what is happening but if it’s true then please accept discounted orders as well. They using coupons because they are not rich enough enough to pay full amount and they really want to try your restaurant.

Please understand , and I hope I will have a chance to taste Singhs street in future.

I am really sorry for the big review , I thought this will help atleast one or two student and NHs worker in...

Proper Indian food actually cooked by an Indian which is rare for the UK! Punjabi cuisine. Small family owned takeaway with small seating area. They cook for fresh so there will be a waiting period after the order. Very good value for money, small restaurant not posh, but clean good Indian Punjabi cuisine. Been there several times. No nonsense Punjabi food. Happy to recommend. See my photo uploads of the cuisine. Don't expect a posh place or fast service but certainly expect great Indian food cooked fresh after your order. Only down side, can be a bit of a wait at busy times but the food is certainly worth waiting for! Service will hopefully get quicker when they are a bit more established and have more staff. It's a very new takeaway and restaurant so I won't cut stars for that. They do party catering as well and their Samosas are good and reasonably priced. Don't miss their home made kulfi and Gulab Jamoons for dessert even if your tummy is full after the meal! I have uploaded many more photos than show on my review but they are only seen on the photos section for some reason. I always come home with packed food for the next day when I have gone here on several visits. My rating is based on the value for money and authentic taste only. Edit: parking is a pain on weekdays. Just been there again and absolutely no parking anywhere around as all slots full I guess with local workers. Not ideal for people wanting to visit. Had to leave to find another place as no parking anywhere nearby inspite of looking around for nearly 30 mins. Might only visit on weekends and after office hours next time onwards to avoid having to leave without...
