Absolutely wonderful little place. Ticks all the boxes- great food, very clean and tidy, extensive menu etc- but for me it’s the warmth and kindness of the owners which makes it so special. On a boiling hot day last summer I was struggling up the hill with my crying baby and I desperately needed somewhere to feed her. John welcomed me in with open arms despite the fact I only wanted water and chocolate as I’d already had my dinner. He was so kind to us and it’s positive experiences like that in those early and challenging days of getting out and about as a new mum which I will always remember fondly. From the love they put into making the food, customising it to your preferences, to generous portions and just the love with which they treat everyone that visits them.
