Sushi Kitchen — Restaurant in Leeds

Extremely rude, got the order wrong. When I called the explain the photo on the website didn't match the meal I'd received They blamed ME for them putting a photo of a Thai food photo on their own website and demanded that I had to call their freelance website designer to argue it with him and he wouldn't be giving me another meal. That also wouldn't of got me the right order, something similar or a refund. He flat out Refused to take responsibility for the issue and snapped at me constantly. I explained its not my job to do their website and do his work for him, if they had checked their own company website they would of known there were photos of food that didn't belong to them. When asked why he hasn't ever checked his own site he became silent and had no answer . the owner eventually gave me something else but the person on the phone flat out refused and said it was my problem. I have never been so disrespected and received such attitude for a problem that could of easily been corrected. The owner eventually came on the phone to apologise and thanked me for bringing the mistake on his website to his attention so he could change it. Had food twice from here. 1st time ordered a Szechuan chicken, what I got was a tub of red grease. Really not good. 2nd time had family visitors round who hadnt had sushi before. Bought a mix sushi with some other stuff... Within said sushi little black hairs were found (almost looked like eye lashes) after so many were found decided to take food to takeaway to show them... The so called chef accused me of putting the hairs in the food and that I was trying to scam them for money back. Said I'd get 50% back in the end. Me being soft or maybe fair accepted.... Never did get any money returned. Vile food and rude staff. 5* reviews here must be high when ordering.

Reply to owner: from seeing other responses to other bad reviews you cannot accept when you're food has been below standard. You can't blame customers for apparently not knowing what they ordered! I'm a fully qualified Chef and I know what I'm ordering and know what good food is when I eat it. You sir are a disgrace. And your customer service is definitely lacking. Also, 1 piece of sushi... Poor service, rude staff!

Ordered at 1600 for delivery at 2030 ( sons 16th birthday treat, order over £50). Received a message at 2000 to say that order would be delivered at 2050 (fair enough given current circumstances).

Received a phone call at 2047 asking what we would like instead of 2 portions of king prawns as they had run out!!!! Whilst they were choosing an alternative from the menu, I asked how much longer we would be waiting and was told by the rude lady to stop being argumentative.

Food arrived almost an hour late, was overcharged as paid for king prawns and got chicken. Customer service absolutely shocking, no apologies and beyond bad attitude.
