Called in for lunch and soft drinks. Cordial with soda . Ordered sharing starters and 3 main courses. Starters weren't too long coming. Whilst waiting for starters all 3 of us were overpowered by amount of cordial in our drinks and asked for a pint of soda to dilute our drinks expecting it to be free. We were charged £1.60 !!! By a barman who basically wasnt interested and had no bar skills or customer skills whatsoever. No offer at any point of condiments / sauces when main came and incredibly rude look from barman when gravy was requested. Original spoon of gravy located later under a carrot. Food was lovely...

This used to be a decent pub but after recently seeing a shocking post about the pubs disgraceful behaviour in a job ad for new staff I wouldn't ever step foot in the place. They said ' no people with borderline personality disorders to apply' but this was apparently meant to be funny, it's not. It's straight up discrimination end of. Called in a couple of times for a quick pint after going out for an evening meal so can't say anything about food. Nice clean well kept pub Cask ale was good but it was very quiet , on two occasions I've been recently I've asked about live music and when next bands on only to be told they had no idea when band is on or who is playing ????
