A couple days prior to my incident, my girlfriend got assaulted in the walkabout queue. she was alone and she had already spoken to one of the bouncers (Ahz) and he had made her feel unsafe already so when this happened she just left as she did not feel comfortable speaking to him about her situation. I went back on monday after a work do with my girlfriend and we got refused entry, we hadn’t had that much to drink but had no problem not going into walkabout but as it was the same bouncer on the door as the day my girlfriend got assaulted she got upset because of the way he made her feel. I tried to speak to the bouncers and inform them about what my girlfriend had experienced just so they knew and could be aware of incidents that happen in the queue where there are no bouncers, and they wouldn’t even give me the time of day, out of all three on the door (one said he was the bouncer manager) not a single one made eye contact with me, they ignored me and couldn’t have cared less as to what had happened in the queue under their supervision. I wasn’t expecting them to do anything I just wanted to tell them so they could be more aware. I then got upset because i understood how unsafe my girlfriend must have felt because the people on the door who are supposed to protect and look after people who chose to go to walkabout had such little regard for her experience and safety. I’ve heard some really concerning stories about the walkabout bouncers and they really lived up to that expectation. Me and my girlfriend (both girls) only hope they hire some bouncers with compassion because walkabout feels like an unsafe...

My family and I visited Walkabout Bar in Leeds around 19:00 and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Despite being the third bar we visited that night, we were met with unwarranted hostility from the staff. A ridiculous incident unfolded when one of my family members yawned and was falsely accused of falling asleep at the bar. This led to them being singled out, escorted outside, and denied re-entry, despite having just purchased drinks.
The bouncers seemed to be on a power trip, eagerly waiting to pounce on any excuse to kick out paying customers. When we tried to reason with them, they were dismissive and uncooperative, leaving us feeling frustrated and humiliated. It was evident that the bouncers were on a mission to ruin our evening, as they even went as far as spreading false information about my mother to other venues on the radio in the area.
This experience was not only disappointing but also disturbing. It appears that this behavior is not an isolated incident, as I have heard similar stories of abuse, racism, and false accusations from others. It is clear that the staff at Walkabout Bar lack professionalism and customer service skills, ultimately tarnishing the reputation of the establishment.
Overall, our visit to Walkabout Bar in Leeds was marred by incompetence, mistreatment, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this venue to avoid the disappointment and humiliation that my family...
Read moreHorrible experience especially from the bouncers, a group of my friends, family and i went into walkabout last night to celebrate a birthday, over £100 was spent on drinks that no one drank because your bouncers are on a power trip and decided to not only kick us out but was shoving my boyfriend and i out the door and yanked my boyfriends drink out of his hand that he had just payed £12 for, he had only just bought his drink after being stood waiting for it for about 10 minutes then as we have tried to go join our group a guy was stood in his way so we both nicely tapped the guy on the shoulder and asked him if we could get passed so he wouldn’t spill his drink and in return my boyfriend got elbowed making him spill half his drink down him so when I’ve tried to put a bit of distance between the guy and my boyfriend ive been shoved aside which is when one of bouncers decided to aggressively grab me and my boyfriend (i have bruises on my arm because of him grabbing me so hard) and push us outside and nearly made me fall down the stairs then when we have asked to speak to the manager our entire group got messed about and was looked down on by the doorman, I wouldn’t of been as annoyed if the guy who started to get physical with my boyfriend and i had also been kicked out but he suffered no consequences, i got the 2 bouncers names that were rude and aggressive to us and i hope they get reprimanded for their behaviour towards us, their names are...
