Just want to share my concerns first of all the guy with the camera will know exactly who I am knew he was rude as refused to give me his name. Understand you don’t have. I get it was busy night and repeating yourself can be annoying but to victimise my dad out my whole family was not ok. Seating outside was not to be used okay fine that’s the council not the pub. I asked the bar lady if drinks were okay outside and she said not sure but the manager will tell you otherwise. Me and my boyfriend took the drinks outside for the manager to have a go at my dad for it when it wasn’t his fault it was mine. Then when my dad asked probably not in the best way out of frustration to help us to at least have a space as can’t be outside he was extremely unhelpful and rude. After a few drinks before and one at this pub I may came across to have had a bit too much and I spoke to this man to say his customer service was very poor and his attitude is disgusting. Were not from around Leeds we travelled miles just to enjoy our day to be spoken to with such disgrace it ruined our enjoyment. I get hospitality is hard and for that day to be busy and a little annoying to have to repeat yourself but remember we’re just people trying to have a good time and to not be so rude! Have better management and have more preparation for when the patio is unable to be used on a hot summers day and tiny a4 sign is not going to be seen in a...

I love this pub.

It is situated on Millennium Square in the middle of Leeds City centre so if you are looking for a cheap place to have a drink or sit in the sun and relax for a while then you have found it. When my back finally gives out I will often have a coffee here when I am out shopping with friends and family.

There are several multistorey car parks within a couple of minutes walk and there are some pay on foot spaces behind the pub as well as some disabled parking bays.

You need to be aware that it is right next to the O2 which is a popular concert venue and a couple of hundred metres away from Leeds Arena so if you get your timings wrong it can be heaving busy on an evening. On some days I work in the building directly opposite so it is the perfect venue for me and I often meet work colleagues here.

Plusses- it is comfortable, cheap, convenient, not too noisy, staff are great, food is exactly as described and consistent. On the downside, it is not high quality here- you get exactly what you pay for. It is a cheap lunch and I am okay with that.

The best thing about it is the online ordering via the app. For someone like myself who, on a bad day, can have some mobility issues, the app is an absolute Godsend and I would choose to go here over the fancier eateries within a few minutes walk.

Definitely worth a visit just for the impressive view of the city over Millennium Square because Leeds...

This place is pretty good and a nice venue but I'm writing this review more to complain about a member of staff who served us. Me and my girlfriend had just arrived and ordered two drinks to a table upstairs however, the pint I had ordered had run out so when the waitress (Australian accent, blonde hair) came over to let us know she just sort of didn't give me any context and said "what do you want?" To which I paused she then explained "instead of the abbot ale" so I ordered another pint and she left. Then when she came over with the drinks she stared at my girlfriend for an uncomfortable amount of time while holding our drinks then just said "thanks" I'm not sure what to maybe she was like waiting for my gf to put her phone down or somthing but it wasn't like she was looking at it or anything, we both then still said cheers to her to be polite but we were both rather wierded out by the whole interaction. Then finally, I ordered another pint and when she brought it over it was filled up with about 2cm gap to the top of the glass (I do understand she may have not poured it) but she did the same thing again but instead stared at me for an uncomfortably long time.

I'm not sure whether they confused us for other people or whether they were upset just with our existence but either way it's not...

Came on a Saturday night at around 6:30, no tables anywhere. Eventually someone got up and moved so we took the table. I was looking forward to a nice meal with my 13 year old daughter and my husband. I ordered our meals and some drinks on the app to the table and when the girl arrived with the drinks she ID’d me and my husband. I’m 39 years old and would never expect to be ID’d so don’t take it with me. I couldn’t believe it. I was angry because I was looking forward to a couple of drinks and a meal. I went to the bar to say I didn’t want the food and would go somewhere else. Apparently you can’t cancel the food and get a refund if you reject it even though it states when you order the drink on the app that if you get ID’d that you still have to pay for your drink/alcohol. Doesn’t say anything about food. My husband rejected the food while I was at the bar speaking to the manager so then we didn’t even have anywhere to sit because all the tables were taken. We ended up in a corner at a bench that was too high to eat from. My daughter was upset and stressed, none of us could eat our meal. The Manager was so rude. All in all a horrible experience that wasn’t needed. I’ll stick to Stick or twist, our usual Wetherspoons where the service is A*

It's a JD Witherspoon outlet, so any pleasure in the relative cheapness is offset by the spiritual pain of knowing that one is contributing to the prosperity of one of humanity's least appealing members. That said, the situation, overlooking Millennium Square is one of the best in Leeds. On a summer afternoon, sitting at one of the outside tables offers a view to rival the best cityscapes in Europe - an eclectic mix of Victorian gothic, art deco and post-war modernism which is somehow harmonious and uplifting. Inside, it's a bit of a cavern and can get rather noisy at peak drinking times. Still, you could do way worse and food and beer are both excellent value.
