Visited with a friend. We both opted for toasties. I ordered Tomato/Mozarella, my friend one with cheese &mushrooms. Table felt sticky. Food took a while, mine came first. Very flat squashed toasted bread cut in half with some salad. (Btw..There was no information when we ordered that cutlery needed to be collected ourselves from the side). My food wasn't nice at all but I was hungry and we were limited in time. The cheese tasted rancid like it had been cooked dead, and half way through I thought, didn't I order tomatoes on it as well?? No tomatoes to be seen... finally my friends toasty came. Luckily hers was OK. I mentioned to the waitress that the tomatoes are missing on my toast and only got a quick "Oh sorry". Did I mention they charge a whooping £7.90 for it!! I then mentioned it to the other person who also just apologised. I told her the toasty wasn't nice at all. Nothing but a "oh sorry ".. We then thought let's give the cakes a try. I spotted a pistachio doughnut, £3.95. It looked fantastic. Turned out another disappointment, the only pistachios in it where the ones sprinkled on top and the doughnut was definitely not fresh. It was stone dry and clearly from the day before. So much for trying to support local businesses. Definitely overpriced and lacking of service and quality of food. Won't be going there again.

I wanted to support local but I was so disappointed. I went in and although it was quick the service wasn't the best. I understand from replies to other reviews that the staff are neurodivergent and although I commend the cafe for supporting this as someone who is also neurodivergent I felt unwelcome and there was no 'warmth' there. I'll start with the good; the coffee is nice and reasonably priced. The bad part is the food. I ordered a toastie which came out wet and soggy, had barely any filling and was just a bit sad. For £7.50 I expected a lot more. The best thing on the plate was the salad in all honesty. I then decided to get 2 doughnuts to takeaway and just wow. I've never had doughnuts this bad. They were hard, dry and so overly sweet. For the price I expected so much more. (This isn't because it's gluten free, a member of my family is celiac and I'm well versed with how gluten free products have improved in the last few years. It's just not very good compared to whats on the market) The whole thing cost me £18.70 for a coffee, a toastie and 2 doughnuts. I can honestly say I probably won't go back. The coffee is fine but everything else is overpriced and poor quality.

It's a wonderful place! They are mainly a gluten-free and vegan cafe/bakery, but they do provide allergy conscious desserts, which is amazing because I have a dairy and soya intolerance. The service was great, and they double-checked the ingredients in the desserts to make sure they didn't have any dairy or soya. Although it would be nice to see more desserts that don't have soya, I think the options are great overall. The spiced chai with aot milk is delicious! I will definitely come back for more. I also bought the below deserts for myself and other family members: 1) Spinach and raspberry (originally thought it was pistachio, but it still was delicious regardless) 2) Chocolate cake 3) Millionaire cake 4) Nutella slice cake (very rich🥰) 5)Honey comb and chocolate doughnut They also had a great vibe, and they showcase/sell local artwork, which was lovely to see. Be sure to get there earlier or at least a few hours before closing so that you can see the full variety of desserts. Don't come 30 minutes before closing like I did, but the options they had were still great. I will definitely be going back!

Attended the allergy and free from show in London and came across what appeared to be a wonderful stand full of great treats. Being someone who not only suffers from allergies but is also vegan I was thrilled to see they had options that would suit me.

I purchased a mystery bag and at the time of buying mentioned both my allergies and that I was vegan. She said this was okay, explaining to me that the mystery bags although a mystery had vegan things in (and that she could ensure they would be vegan). However, majority of the items actually turned out to contain eggs and milk - which I discovered when I got home (I had to check this online myself as nothing was labelled)

I was also followed closely to a card machine when paying for my items and made to feel very uncomfortable.

I emailed to explain this to who I can presume to be the owner and was sent an email which was...shocking. Within it I was told that they had losses at the show, bags stolen and pretty much everything I said was dismissed whilst the actual show was complained about and slammed. I am shocked by this and really upset.

The products were purchased for myself and others within my household, could only be eaten by one member and when asked by that member I was told they were all dry and lacked any taste at all.

These were clearly not from the same day and proof of that was from the fact that the owner even stated within the email I was sent (which again was just shocking) that they had thousands of items left over on Saturday...I bought my bag on Sunday.

Would...

This was such a disappointing experience. I was so looking forward to having proper fresh baked gluten free bread. We travelled an hour to get to the bakery and cafe, and had booked a table. In arrival the girl at the counter was vague about the table booking and randomly placed us at a table which was free ( the cafe was busy and had a lovely vibe). We ordered soup to eat and after 40 minutes of waiting, and asking twice if it was on its way, it arrived. By this time we’d already eaten out doughnuts, which were lovely! The girl gave no apology for the wait - I think our order had been overlooked as others who had arrived much later than us, had received their order. The soup was fine and it was served with random toasted crusts of bread which was unexpected.

I bought two cob loaves to try at home and asked for them to be sliced. When I opened the package at home, the top of the loaf was a huge hole and the bottom was very wet and soggy and looked very under proved. The girl who sliced the loaf must have seen this so why was I sold it? So overall most of the experience was completely disappointing and very pricey for what I had. I’m afraid I won’t be returning to the cafe or purchasing any further bread. Perhaps I just turned up on...
