The only reason this gets a 3 star and not a 2 star is because the food was OK. The service was exceptionally slow and rather dire. (From the kitchen and front of house) it took 30 mins for a single custard bao to come out of the kitchen and when I chased service they told me another 10 mins, so I just paid my bill and left. The table next to us were offered their bill while they were still eating, which is very bizarre. She literally still had a mouth full of food. The kitchen was so slow, they were at about 30% capacity in the restaurant and from what I could tell they had 4 people in the kitchen, 1 being the owner and 1 person running front of house. They really need to work on their efficiency in all aspects, it's pretty bad. The atmosphere is rather bad and stale too, you can hear the conversations of every table, clearly. It makes it hard to communicate to your own table as your are massively aware that it is been presented to the restaurant. Really need some backing music or soft furnishings to dampen the sound. All in all it was a lack luster experience, with pretty average food. Not sure how so many people are saying the food is...

I think I have found my new favorite restaurant.

We ordered, starters, mains and desserts for two, for a very reasonable price for restaurant quality food.

We both tried a bit of each other's dishes, but I ordered the Chicken Bao buns, the Kimchi Soup with egg noodles, and the fried Mochi. I cannot praise the kimchi soup enough, I am drooling just thinking about it. The portion sizes for the mains are quite generous too, so if you plan on eating a full three courses, make sure you're not in anything too fitted!

The only potential downside for some is that service is not as quick as you'd get in other eating establishments, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and the extra time taken was more than made up for in the quality and presentaion of the food we received. The venue is very small, only having about 8 to 10 tables of varying sizes, but from my point of view, it gives the place a cosy, intimate feeling.

Overall, it was a fantastic eating experience and we will absolutely be returning soon! Just be sure to set out a good amount of time to fully enjoy...

We had stopped there after searching for a place to eat and warm up and it was by chance that we found this amazing place! The food was perfect. The pho was exactly what I was craving and the portion was generous. The condiments and spices were fresh and tasty. The sake was just hot as I love it and tasted great. The custard bao... 🤩🤩🤩 im still dreaming about it!! The dining room was cosy and wonderfully decorated and there was fresh flowers on tables. The people were fantastically friendly, courteous, polite and the food was served promptly. For two freezing foreigners that had been riding their motorcycle all day (end of january....) and desperately needed to rest before heading back home, it was like finding heaven with hot food. Thank you to all the staff that day for having us! We will be...

Found my favorite Vietnamese restaurant 🥰 + I tried many Vietnamese restaurants and I finally found a place that does authentic Vietnamese food and actually delicious 😋 + Staffs are nice especially the owner. - It's hard to get the waitresses attention. They were nowhere to be found. We had to wait pretty long until they showed up to order more food to go. We also had to wait for awhile then we had to actually go and look for the waitress in order to pay our bill. Food come out quite SLOW. Hope this problem can be improved. So if you plan on doing something after dinner, you should plan your time wisely. - The toilet is freezing 🥶 Recommend food: Phở, bánh mì (I would have to come back and try more) I hope one day I can find Cơm Tấm and Bún bò Huế on their menu.

The best Vietnamese food I’ve had yet! I LOVED the Vietnamese salad with tofu and pho with tofu (all can be made vegan). Everything was refreshing, full of flavor, satisfying, and had high quality ingredients. I loved all the herbs with the pho. Most of the menu can be made vegan without sacrificing major ingredients or flavor which was awesome. Very pretty interior. They seemed like they book up with reservations—I happened to walk in before the reservations started but I saw them have to turn a couple people away later on. Suggest reserving next time you visit Seaford…I might go again before I leave!

My wife and I decided to try Amies Kitchen today, after walking past a few times. Nice and clean inside, and staff very friendly and helpful. I decided to go for the Chicken Pad Thai and the wife had a Chicken Thi soup. Very tasty and good portions, although it was a pity my plate was cold as it made the meal a bit cooler than I would have liked. Other than that a very nice meal and I am sure we will be back. Along with 2 bottles of beer it came to £28 which we though was quite reasonable.
