Caffè Nero — Restaurant in Lincoln

I went into this Caffe Nero branch yesterday, and recieved first class customer service.

I was served by a staff member who had short brown/brunette hair and he was wearing a t shirt promoting the new El Salvador blend of Espresso Caffe Nero do.

I'm umsure if this staff member had a name badge on, but he had such an enthusiastic personality and myself and this staff member were having a wonderful chat about all things coffee as he was getting my order ready.

The food here is honestly to die for (the Brie and Tomato Focaccia is something I highly recommend) and the coffee here is simply sublime.

I really hope this staff member gets noted for his customer service as it was just perfect. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more kinder soul after a busy day at work.

I will definately be visiting again.

On 2 separate occasions I have ordered drinks I have regularly and on both times this week it’s been bad, I ordered a chai latte and one of the new ice flavoured lattes … after trying the drinks they didn’t taste how they should do, the chai was just hot milk and the “flavoured” ice latte tasted plane, I asked the server if more of the flavour could be added and was told “that’s just how it is, that’s the recipe” however when you order the same drink in an alternate Nero store it tastes completely different with the correct flavour. Both drinks were undrinkable and unfortunately has put me off returning ever again, there was no offer to remake either drink, or to add more flavour. What a dump! Unhygienic, unfriendly, untidy, unsocialised bunch of rude and disinterested individuals that work here. Everything is too much trouble. The man with long dark hair and a beard is shocking with his whole attitude and rudeness. I was over charged and had a lively long dark hair on my slice of cake. I returned it to the coffee bar and he was rude and would not exchange the cake nor the coffee for me. My coffee i asked to be extra hot.... it was served luke warm with no syrup which I was charged for twice! I would suggest to others to Avoid this place. When you initially go in the tables are stacked up with piles of dirty pots. Yet only a few customers in store and all staff talking amongst each other and ignoring the customers. AVOID...
